Glad to see BoF 3 getting its love.
I would like to play ocarina and majora in their original form. They changed too much in Majora 3d. Ocarina was fine.
Looked good on my Lite.
Selling multi thousand dollar ships for a game in alpha. Then saying they are doing everyone a solid by NOT showing game footage. It may or may not be a "SCAM," but it is definitely greasey.
What part, exactly, was me excusing anything? Be specific. Im curious.
No, but I have played worse.
Because the world is full dissenters.
I'm loving it. It is a buggy, broken mess for sure.... but it is MY buggy, broken mess. I hope the dev team doesn't get thrown under the bus on their next game because you can see the love they poured into cyberpunk. Management screwed the team and THAT is NOT ok.
Agreed. I love the game. My game of the last few years. But im not deluded enough to say they didn't royally fuck the release and their goodwill. Im lucky enough to have a stable experience, but that is only because I have a strong pc. Console players, and pc players less powerful hardware, got totally screwed. I really, really feel sorry for the dev team. They get to eat a juicy shit sandwhich because of the piss poor decisions made by their management. Too bad because you can really see...
I have no faith. I am fundamentally apposed to the selling of multi- thousand dollar ships for a game that is nowhere near finished (or at all, especially when they have racked up hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars from crowd funding).
Thing about entertainment is you don't have to engage with it. They wanted to make a game full of boobs, that is their prerogative. Don't play it. The preview material spelled out what kind of content would be in this game. It is accurate to the source material. Besides, look at the way kids are dressing. This is what the future will look like. Better get used to it.
Just because I have commented on a bunch of cyberpunk stuff already.
Huh... ok. I mean, love it or hate it, the setting is true to the genre. It is cyberpunk. Thats the point. HiTech-low life.
Management fucked up. The devs did what they could. The game is great for the few for whom it actually works. My experience on PC has been pretty damn good. People on consoles (and many on pc) are not having the same experience as me. Its a bummer. It sucks. It is still just a game. I understand the disappointment, but damn, there wasn't this much outrage when Toyota knowingly put out hundreds of thousands of cars that had malfunctioning brakes that killed people.
Wow. You would think that this game being broken had a real impact on people's lives.
It runs (mostly) well for me, but im not deluded enough to say that this wasn't a total shit show. I love the game and wish everyone was having the same experience i am, but this is a bad look for CDPR. I feel absolutely terrible for the dev team. They worked their asses off to make something truly special, and it was all for nothing because of the higher ups who were more worried about the short term return on investment than they were about the long term ramifications to the future and ...
I'm enjoying it quite a bit. My game of the last few years. Its a buggy broken mess, but its MY buggy broken mess. It helps that I have a 2080 8g, 32bg ram. 4ghz i7, and an ssd. Part of the exclusive club that gets to truly enjoy a mostly stable experience, albeit buggy as I said above.
Agreed. The point is you get conned. Its good narrative. Night city is a grungy shithole. Im glad they included a mission that just screws you. Nobody is immune to the apathetic beast that is night city.
I am absolutely loving this game... this review seems over enthusiastic.
Their treatment of their workers when the pandemic broke out is enough steer me clear of them regardless of any restructuring.
