Oh, fuck that. That is also why fuck Epic.
People can, and should, buy whatever they like.
That deal was in place before the acquisition.
We need a strong AA space to come back. Was looking good with ninja theory, obsidian, inXile, and larian games but them Microsoft bought most of those studios. The middle market game tend to have more experimental gameplay and stories.
There are always flashes of brilliance in there games but they never fulfill their potential. Every few years they put out an acceptable game that makes me think MAYBE they are starting to make a positive change in their formula. Unfortunately they always double down on their bullshit after that.
These games are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The music, graphics, the simple story, and... most of the gameplay. Combat in the first one is a little underwhelming, but that is my only complaint.
Tech land has had some issues with the sequel. I'm thinking they hoped this would get them some quick funding to pump into the development.
Yeah, proven lies ruined him, so obviously he is a total ass hat... right? I can't believe people are still riding him like that. In fact, it has been proven that it was in fact HE that was the one being abused. But once accused, forever guilty. Cancel culture is cancer.
This article is 3 paragraphs long. One third of that is just a block quote.

Microsoft nurtured bethesda a lot over the years. Their first console port was Xbox exclusive. They said themselves that they developed oblivion for 360 and ported it to PS3. They have done the exact same thing with every one of the Bethesda game studios games. Microsoft and bethesda have been in bed together for 20 years now. Their broken ass games are even more broken on Sony systems almost every time. Skyrim was dumpster fire on PS3 at launch, and for a painful amount of time after.
Taking 3rd party games from other players.... I'm sorry... I just don't even. All bethesda games are now first party. It's that simple. I don't give a shit about bethesda, xbox, or Sony. Just saying Microsoft bought bethesda for a shit load of money and they became first party studios. I am honestly surprised the exclusive move came so quickly, though. I really expected Microsoft to let bethesda publish some of these already announced games on their originally planned platform...
Games journalists. Days gone is a good example of why they suck. 93% user rating. 73% critical. Game was #1 for a month straight in UK. Was well recieved commercially. IGN would have you believe it was the worst game of the year.
I want it to be good. I do not believe it will live up to its funding and development time. Hope for the best, though. Loads of people have obviously sunk a a ton of money into it.
It sucks for the PS owners... or I suppose it does. I have been consistently disappointed by Bethesda game studio games since skyrim. They focus so much on make a game you can see everything in on one super playthrough. It leaves it feeling like there is not much in the way of stakes. I'm hoping that this deal will give them more money and time to do what I know they are capable of, but haven't accomplished is over a decade.

Nintendo has been metrAVOIDING telling the fans anything for a long time now..... oh man, I'm sorry. Thats probably the worst thing I have ver said.
I dont see the point in not having combat in first person. Maybe I'm missing something.
I love this game. The between mission dialog triggers at weird inopportune times. The mission flow is..... strange. But damn, I love this game.
Would have preferred the same old screen in a switch pro, personally. Screen was never an issue for me. Performance is the problem.
