You do realize that nobody "tried" Uncharted 4 or Horizon. They didn't have hands on demos at E3, why would they have them at Gamescom?
They have 3 other game shows this year. TGS, PGW, and PSX, not to mention they almost always have something for the VGAs or The Game Awards. Do you really think they "ran out of stuff to show" if they have three more press conferences?
Also.... MS doesn't have a TGS conference because it isn't ...

Sony asked for money FOR Yu Suzuki, not money for Sony. Did they use it as a PR move? Absolutely, but they aren't begging for themselves.
I hope it comes out on PC and X1 as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to play it on my PS4, I just want SE to see that giving us what we ask for is good for business.

Very true. CD was fortunate having ND delay Uncharted, but unfortunate to have Fallout 4 come out same day. I'm hoping it doesn't lose sales because of that.
I think Phil's best move is bringing other franchises like ReCore, Sunset Overdrive, and Sea of Thieves to the X1.
For me, Xbox's greatest weakness has always been diversity to me. It was always the shooter and driving game box and those two genres are far from my favorite.
In what ways? Gameplay seems completely different to me and so does graphical style.
This is a four player death match, first to 5 "Points" wins. You get a point per kill and lose a point per death. TF2 was mainly objective based, not kill based.
This is also a character based system and not a class based system. Every character can use all the guns but they also have their own unique abilities, which is different from the classes in TF2.

Sony is paying to port the PC version to the PS4. So you are correct in saying they aren't paying for development. They are also paying for marketing as well. Just to clarify things.

While I agree with the first part of what you said, using that definition of exclusive leaves forza 5 and sunset overdrive as the only exclusive titles for x1.
Maybe you got mine :-) I cancelled my limited edition preorder.

I believe they only require new content if there was a deal with a competing platform, not if the team just isn't able to do multiple platforms at the same time. Which in my opinion is fairly reasonable.
