@InTheLab TR is just a timed exclusive. Not only that, but it's coming to 360 as well so if it's that important you play right away and have a 360, play it on that.
If you require "Big flagship titles" constantly, you bought the wrong platform. Sony has plenty of exclusives titles, but they have always had a very diverse and sometimes niche lineup. Exclusives this year:
The Tomorrow Children
Rime
Until Down
Ratchet and Clank ...
@MeteorPanda While I agree with you I think that's a poor comparison considering there was no ability to save your game and my Mom would get pissed if I left my NES on.
E3 is mid June man. Still aways off. Plenty of games out between now and then.
@Septic
Not saying the PS4 exclusive lineup has been great so far, but Forza Horizon 2 and Titanfall weren't exclusives and you used those as your examples.
Personally, I think Sunset Overdrive is the X1's biggest accomplishment so far, and the only exclusive it has that has interested me.
Fallout 4
Uncharted 4
Mass Effect 4
Final Fantasy XV
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain
Assassin's Creed Victory
Rise of the Tomb Raider
To save people from the clicking. List is pretty weak though. Almost all those games are pretty much guaranteed to be there so it isn't much of a "Wish list".
Fallout 4 is never going to be an exclusive. Only way is if MS paid a ton of money to make it happen but I just see the chance of it being super slim. Maybe timed exclusive DLC like Fallout 3 had?
Regarding TLoU2, Naughty Dog historically has made a lot of reveals at the VGAs, so I wouldn't be surprised if the game their second team is working on was announced there (The Game Awards now), whether it's a sequel to TLoU or not. Originally the plan was to announce TLoU p...
But half the games you mentioned are multiplats already.
Other than the crossplay I just don't see the appeal of the Windows 10 stuff. Care to explain the excitement?
@yarbie1000
His point was, Xbox hasn't had any exclusives. Well it has, but only screamride which is nothing to write home about. Ori is on Steam (really enjoying it) so it's not an exclusive.
@MrSec84
I still think TLG is coming, but it's also regularly confirmed to still exist every time it doesn't appear at a show.
The agent we've never seen anything from and we never here about it. It was announced in 2009 and still nothing.
Why do people still think the agent is going to happen?
@Dgander
Yes, you are the only one here who went to school. You are apparently also the only one here who has listened to Cage the Elephant's "Ain't no rest for the wicked" and Five Finger Death Punch's "Dot Your Eyes", because ya know, ain't nothing in this world for free.
Go to the multiplayer, hit R1 to go to friends. Join their game.
Not to pick on you specifically but I absolutely hate this trend in gaming right now where people read articles for the first day/week a game like this is out, and dismiss it. The air drops take like 5 minutes to fall from the sky and the gear can be taken by anyone, not who paid for it.
I haven't seen an airdrop on my server during the time I've been playing for weeks. Airdrops are not a problem.
No mans sky is less than 10 people.
You realize if they weren't third party console exclusives, you'd still get them on your PC, right? It's not like it's benefitting you at all.
@marlinfan10 I agree, mostly. Halo is also a high caliber game series. It isn't personally my cup of tea, but it's definitely quality and something to really look forward to if that's your thing. On the other hand, Uncharted may not be people's thing either.
Sony doesn't have a first party shooter near that caliber. Killzone has always been decent, but nowhere near it. Same with Resistance. For me though, there's enough 3rd party FPS' out there to ...
@IVanSpinal How am I a fanboy? I claimed that the TR deal was a good move.
I also didn't say Xbox owners wanted Uncharted. I said it was a genre that they didn't have a slot for during that time period. Either way, it is a critically acclaimed series and has high praise from gamers as well so my point that it is a high caliber game stands.
The tomb raider deal was a good move. By the time Phil came on board, there was no way they'd have a game uncharted caliber for the holiday 2015 slot. The problem was with how the announcement was delivered. Since the previous entry had been on PS and the game was announced without platforms being specified everyone assumed it was coming to PS4. Then they were a little misleading on their announcement of it being a timed exclusive. I think the reaction wouldn't have been as harsh had ...
@Crimzon Except that this is hitting San Diego studio, who develops MLB: The Show which is commercially and critically successful, so your logic for the studio being in trouble doesn't make much sense.
