Just because someone wouldn't have bought it regardless, doesn't mean they should have the right to play it then.
I'm on board with your comment as referring to small scale games, but that's just not what indie games are. There are big budget indie titles out there too. We don't want to give the indie scene a bad rep by referring to every small game as an indie title.
@koyes and @MegaRay
You two do both realize Helldivers is a Sony published and owned IP, right? So not indie...
It's pure click bait.
"It's not clickbait if you actually read it....."
Do you know what clickbait is?
"Content, especially that of a sensational or provocative nature, whose main purpose is to attract attention and draw visitors to a particular web page."
Maybe that question "what is the balance between cinematics/story and gameplay in games today?" is important and should be asked but...
I'd have to agree with the article to some extent. Not on some like, Bayonetta, which wouldn't have been possible without Nintendo. But I do agree Nintendo doesn't deserve third party exclusives on consoles. Handheld is different. Their third party relations have been terrible. And yes, I'm a Wii U, Wii, Gamecube, N64, etc owner. Nintendo needs to keep their identity while also changing with the times. They're too stubborn though so I don't expect it to happen. It like...
Wow, gotta be the guy who comes in and craps on other peoples excitement, eh?
@Garrett
I didn't say "Go back and play the old ones." I said the new ones don't ruin the old ones, they are still there. I don't see how you guys are taking this as some huge gaming sin. Battlefront was DEAD. It has been resurrected, albeit in a different form. You were getting nothing before, but getting something now. You aren't LOSING anything.
@foxtrot You can hate the game all you want, but they didn't "ruin battlefront." The originals are still there, you can still play them. You're just whining like every battlefront thread because the game isn't how you would want it.
Well, I wasn't going to buy the season pass. Now, I think I'm going to in honor of you. You just got EA $50.
Since when do reviews base their score off the cost and content of the season pass?
I'll order a legendary and they'll give me a blue.
@moldybread
If the minimum price you had to pay to get an X1 was $500 and then it dropped it lower, it's a price drop. Either way, you could buy the 20GB PS3 model at $500, then a PS3 at $400 a year later. You couldn't buy at $300 till almost 3 years later.
But what if you do have a gaming PC... and still feel that way?
Anyone else have a problem with the fact that the exotic engram costs coins now instead of motes?
I mean.... I'll never go through these 500 some motes now.
To be fair, the content had only been out for hours before the review came up. The nightfall isn't accessible yet, the raid isn't up till Friday, but there's a review? With 20-30 added per the review, how did it come out right on release day?
Now, I know media usually gets release copies of games but unless Bungie gave them separate servers ahead of time, I don't know how they were able to responsibly review this. Even with access to other servers, I fail to s...
The game has been out like.... 10 hours and the review says it has 20-30 hours of new content? The raid isn't even out till Friday. I'll pass on this review.
I've only done this fight once as I just picked Destiny up again recently... I was in a group with two friends, one who had done it before and one who did not. We beat him second try. The first we had him down to 25% and wiped. We also used the running around method. I don't get the complaint of it being too hard.
My download failed twice on PS4 as well.
@sorane
ND gave away free DLC with Uncharted 3 and TLOU you bitter man.
God forbid there be Single Player DLC for the first time in series history when it's the end of Drake's story.
Yet when companies don't put DRM on it like with The Witness.... they get screwed over. This isn't a chicken and the egg scenario. If people didn't pirate, DRM wouldn't be a thing.
