It's true, and they are likely to continue doing so, especially with how well the PS4 is doing. I don't see anything wrong with Microsoft buying this company, good for them!
2 billion?? Minecraft is a popular game but there are others gaining popularity as well. That seems really expensive for the company. Maybe that is how much the "minecraft" name is worth.
There are likely technical differences, but not so extreme that everyone notices.
Digital foundry really are the only ones that can tell us for sure, but there does look to be slight differences. Not sure how legit the video is though.
Yeah Xbox fans didn't use grass blades as and example of a certain multi plat game being "superior" on 360 last gen...
The PS4 version likely has superior technical features like we found out with Diablo 3 also, is that enough to make someone care or want that version? It is up to them.
I personally think Digital Foundry is the only source to trust on the matter though, if people wanted to see any technical differences.

Pretty large difference in GPU strength as well in PS4's favor.

It wouldn't do any good comparing PSN to XBL if one does have trouble, if the game crashes it has little to do with either. The game runs on Bungie's servers with the PS4 version being the more popular one by a pretty good amount it looks like. So Bungie's PS4 servers will likely have the most trouble. But it reflects on Bungie's servers, not Sony's or Microsoft's.

Right, the reason Sony sells more consoles is due to Micro's mistakes... hmmm. Tell that to the PS3 vs 360 gen with PS3's horrible reputation on it's release.
It's your opinion that X1 has better games, PS4 actually has more high rated games in retail AAA and digital. I am sure many people favor PS4's lineup more, I wouldn't know because I don't own both.

They had a pretty good buzz building with 360, but it cooled off near the consoles later life, I think Xbox hype was toned down a lot heading into E3 last year, and then they almost killed it completely with the DRM announcement. Then it didn't help that they had a bit weaker console (on paper) and spent a lot of time hyping up cable and NFL...
They really did pretty bad with it, and it will be hard to recover. I think they should have kept with Kinect being bundled in b...
I hope they have more actual players and less bots...
I am only interested in seeing what the actual gameplay will consist of, they are talented devs.

Actually PS4's launch was like the 3rd largest in history over there, at hundreds of thousands.
Sure things have cooled off a bit for it, but you can't compare first week sales of a console to a console that has been out for months...
