X1 is a good system, Wii U is a good system, the majority just prefer the PS4 as a home console...
It has been out long enough for consumers to make an educated decision on their purchase. The system is made better (hardware wise), multiplats generally preform better, There are more retail AAA, Digital and free ps + games and in all those categories there are higher rated games (than X1).

I don't understand that argument, if the X1 was for purists as you say then wouldn't there be more parity in the stats on live and uneven stats on PSN and not the other way around? If there are a ton of casuals on PSN as you claim, then all the good players would just rack up stats endlessly...

I agree with your post above, I would argue that on PS4 it is more evenly matched, meaning there is more competition for people and more players.
Some like the PS4 controller more, some like the X1 controller more. I could play on either, I like both. But I am more used to the PS4 controller so I am more comfortable playing on it... I am used to the PSN and DS4.
I am really not saying one is better than the other, I am just comfortable with the PlayStation set up and I like it.
