@gangsta_red
Funny how you feel the need to damage control Newmonday's post.
You really hate the fact that MANY journalists love this game... I love how salty people get over it.
And all the fanboys that troll everything Drive Club and The Order. It screams of insecure. Just get a PS4 already so you can play the games you're so obviously obsessed with.
When Resistance came out on PS3 Xbox fans trashed on it to no end, now they welcome Insomniac with open arms lol. It's no different from either camp, people are competitive. At least Destiny is multi plat.
Looks really great. I have so many good memories playing this with friends.
People shouldn't have brains. They should not like Drive Club, and agree that the sound is not the best, even though they authentic sounds for the cars, and the handling is bad, even though it is getting positive previews for handling...
We will be sheep and follow from now on, and not like anything Drive Club. Forza Horizon 2, here we come! Is that better?
^
Truth!
Seriously???
FH2 is going for colorful and no realism, it's just how it is. DC is going for photo realism, and succeeding. You seriously gotta give credit where it is due or you end up looking extremely Xbox homer-ish.
DC just plain destroys it, in every regard, no contest...
In no way does this look anything at all like Titanfall? Seriously, I really am interested.
You do know also that Starhawk on PS3 had mechs that you could ride in, right? Yes before Titanfall.
Killzone 2 was one of my favorite shooters last gen, far from "meh". Shadows Fall could have been better, but they make good games in my opinion. I am glad they are going into a new genre, I am interested in what they can do with it.
Yeah, I miss the days when open world RPG's were movies. Actually not, because that never happened.
30 fps being more cinematic does not = them saying 30 fps is better! For THEIR game it works better, because it is a cinematic feel and cinematic game. Maybe you would take what they said more seriously if you took more time with reading comprehension... no offense.
Yeah, like Too Human on the 360. The scope of that game was big and it was hyped up as being in development forever. Fanboys would bring it up like it was going to be the next best thing, sure glad I didn't buy into the hype, it got trashed on. Really glad I didn't get a 360 to play it.
It sells really well on PlayStation, and they put 2.5 billion into it, so they are going to want to sell it on EVERYTHING they can until they get the investment back. That is how I see it... I think it still sells well at least, I haven't really checked lately actually.
Even when it's XBL having problems, people find a way to bash on PSN. C'mon now.
The only reason it seems a bit strange to me is that Minecraft is already out on Sony's platforms. If they bought the company before it released on next gen systems it would make more sense.
You could make the argument they have other things planned, but the mind behind Minecraft is said to be leaving after the deal... I don't think Microsoft is wrong in wanting more studios or ip's, it's just this particular one is confusing.
@Skylar
Yeah, people shouldn't be able to voice their opinions, everyone should automatically agree that the Vita is useless and never have an opposing view when some trolls Sony.
Notice he said "will" and not "does", it can be argued that for consoles it does though.
PC has fantastic games for sure, but when buying a PlayStation console one is making an investment in the brilliant first party studios they have. The Last of Us is a great example, it being one of the greatest games made in a LONG time.
@XBLSkull
Of course they will talk up the PS4 hardware, they are part of Sony. But at least they can admit it has faults, without throwing secret sauce talk around and stuff.
@Big_Game_Hunters
"The games look fine" Uncharted looks the be the greatest looking game visually I have ever seen. That has less to do with hardware, and more to do with ND being magicians.
And about your second point "I just wish everyone would s...
So MS is just another greedy company that refuses to help improve the economy in the US by sending jobs overseas, AND they don't want to pay taxes to the country they claim to be from... Class of a business if you ask me, just classy. How greedy and scummy can companies get? Seriously.
And people say we should support Micro because they are an American company? But they wont return the favor and support the American people... Just a classy, patriotic, American company. Wh...
I don't know, my nephews have already moved on to Terraria... I don't hear as much talk about it from people like I used to. In it's prime people used to be obsessed with it though for sure. I think money could be better spent trying to create the NEW big game through already owned studios, rather than buy ip's to games that used to be the hot thing...
The game looks simply stunning, congrats to Evolution and Sony on this!
