Somewhere Sony must be crying. PS4 still couldn't outsell Vita with CoD and PES despite their best efforts to kill that machine.
Dragon Quest VII 3DS is over a year old already. Few games from major publishers get localized after a gap of time that large.
Sony says they're supporting Vita and PS3, but the upcoming software lineup for those machines say otherwise.
Man, it must take some stones to straight up lie to a person when it's very easy for that person to call your bluff. Sony releases their Vita sales data. It's not up on a worldwide basis. It's down significantly. The only region where it's up YOY is in Japan and that lead is starting to erode as Sony decided to kill the machine in favour of PS4. Remote Play hasn't sold Vitas. Anyone who thinks that is kidding themselves.
Also that comment about them not ab...
Easy to do so when you go from supporting two platforms to just one.
You mean this: https://www.kickstarter.com...
Vita isn't allowed to have any games that aren't indie games also on PS4.
This is outdated information. Their Vita followup was cancelled alongside some other things like an original Infamous.
DualShockers would have a heart attack.
Gravity Rush's next game is on PS4. Sony thinks Vita and its owners are worthless. They should buy a PS4 and use Remote Play or go away.
You're never buying a PSTV then. Dev teams have moved on and some games just won't work with a controller.
@Th4freak Try using the touch screen on a mobile device and compare it to the PS4's touch pad. On PS4, you're using something like a cursor as the the touch input isn't 1:1 to the display. It's not the same. The same goes for the motion sensors. There's a disconnect with your movements as it's not directly attached to the display.
I don't know what D3 is, but the developer for CoD shut down after launch. There's obviously some games that should...
Swell, at least 141 people bought it.
Ultimately there's no way for an outside party to determine what those sales charts mean. Given #3 is Hyrule Warriors, a game that came out over a month ago, I can't imagine you're dealing with tens of thousands of units there.
I think people expected it to actually have support from Sony. Of course, that was a foolish belief given how quickly they told Vita owners to bug off.
Video app support on PSTV is poor. As it stands now, PS TV supports less services than Vita does, despite being identical hardware and said apps supporting button inputs. It doesn't even have a service as basic as Netflix.
There's obviously the games issue. Compatibility with Vita software is scatter-s...
It would be impossible for it to play all Vita games. Vita has motion sensors attached 1:1 to its display, a touch screen and a back touch pad. You just can't simulate that all with a controller.
It was a year full of Titanicfail, Wash Dogs and Destined for the Bargain Bins.
Yes.
have to use imagination since no pes on vita
Pretty sure Remote Play is actually cheaper than the perfume thing Microsoft is doing. Remote Play functionality is built into every non-camera PS4 game. Big whoop that a Bungie employee spent 5 minutes configuring the controls.
That RPG tweet never mentions PS4 and is so vague to really not even be a tease.
Tidux is also as incorrect an "insider" can be. He said Vita would have a good Gamescom this year. I don't know how anyone could say that in hindsight.
