Well to be fair DEI hasn’t really got completely off the rails, but you could see it lurking.
DEI itself is a good thing, everyone deserves equal treatment and to be happy. But making it the focus of a game in no way makes a game or any story better.
Yes i agree with the usage of existing IPs with their live service games would have been a better strategy than whatever concord was trying to do. Getaway online… I would play that

Seriously, they should have been more careful choosing who represents their games. I have no issue with her, but i do see why her choice may be a concern for many people. It’s just not a risk worth taking
All great games, but i think Sony talking about 1st party and i think in their minds Astro Bot isn’t one of those big games and wasn’t expected to be as successful as it turned out.
Well… sony WAS releasing at least 1-3 big Single player games every year for the last 10 over years until SOMEONE decided “let’s stop doing whatever’s working very well and let’s do live service laced heavily with DEI”… luckily some cooler heads from HQ seems to prevail for now, phew!
