COD MW 1 was the best of the recent lot of games from the COD franchise. I disliked Black ops the most, closely followed by MW 2. However, MW 3 looks to be quite good if they can hold and build on the cinematic gameplay and scene we just saw in this preview.
MW3 just moved up on my must buy list. :-)
Correct. Though if the new Nintendo console is noticeably more powerful AND there are some good games out at launch, I just might buy one to see how far the graphics and gameplay is pushed. Of course this assumes the pricing is reasonable $200-$400. :-)
Of course no PS4 news now, they will only do that at next years E3 as I believe the PS4 will come out at the end of 2012 or early 2013 if they are following their previous lunch cycles of approx 6 years between launches.
Of course the PS3 will still be sold alongside it just like the PS2 was sold alongside the PS3. I just hope they have heavy hitting games for the PS4 launch, like GT6, Uncharted 4 etc. :-))

I want to give it a chance. I'm hoping it is actually better than MW2. However, the Russian invasion story is just ridiculous! I'd sooner believe an alien invasion story than a Russian invasion. As I always say, a good story is important to give players a reason to get pulled into the game world. As it stands now this is just going to be a tad bland.
Well, here is to hoping they can really give a good story out of this scenario.

5. GT5 (This alone will keep you busy for months if not years!!)
Numbers 1 - 4 can be finished in a few days if you are a hardcore player who plays up to 8 hours every day. Otherwise comfortably in 4 weeks if you only play one day a week. Number 5 will take as long as you months if not years depending on what you do in it. :-)
All Nintendo has to do with the Wii 2 to capture some hardcore early adopters is.......release a new Call of Duty on it! plus other 'hardcore' games. Better graphics than the PS3 and 360 would lead to many, many new Wii 2 purchases. If they can get Cyrsis 3 on there too even better. I would buy one too if this came true to tide me over till PS4 & the 720 come out. I'm ready for the next-gen now!
I would also say Blu-ray lets anyone add a lot more textures and stuff to the game including HD video and high quality sound. I was playing crisis 2 yesterday and the Sub HD in game video is a bit outdated especially when I compare with other PS3 specific games which all have full HD in game video and terrific surround sound. It seems the Crysis developers decided to keep things level with the 360 rather than letting the PS3 have HD in game video. Sad but true.

Yup, I'm ready for the next Gen. 2012 is fine by me. Though I doubt we will see such a leap of graphics as from PS1 to PS2 or PS2 to PS3. It is becoming more expensive to make the games more detailed. Therefore, I only expect a slight increase in graphics but a more notable increase in the smaller details like better textures, smoother character movement and better effects.
If you have a 3D TV you should play it all the way through in 3D!! It really is another experience! It makes it feel like a newer generation of FPS gaming!

I agree that if you have a 3D TV this is THE shooting game to enjoy it. It's like a next generation of shooting games when you play it in 3D!! I just started playing yesterday and am really impressed with the game and the way the 3D actually makes it that much more of an immersive experience.
MK is back! Nice game for two MK fans to go at it. Some cool updated moves makes it interesting to see the moves all over again!
