GT5 is still the most beautiful: pictures are worth more than words (see attached images).....though as a car fanatic I will check this game out and decide if i want to add it to my Forza collection of Forza 2 and 3. :-)
1) "I seem to be living in some sort of F***ed up Groundhogs day! I have no recollection of a life other than this running behind that table and shooting at this guy who seems to be invincible."
2) "If I kill him, we just start all over again, until he kills us. It's like being stuck in a f***ing nightmare!"
3) "Damn! There was only one of him and 30 of us but he took us all out!"
4) "How about we pick u...
Just wow! GT5 premium cars still look better than Forza 4's cars plus Forza seems to not have the dynamic weather and time of GT5 and that makes a big difference in the racing experience. Forza is a great arcade game while GT5 is more of a simulator.
"...it will change what you'll expect from driving games for, well, ever." oh wow! So it has dynamic weather and time? Thereby making the races more realistic and challenging? Oh wait, no it doesn't, yet GT5 has it (since he compares Forza to it).
A silly review. Moving on.
I for see a large amount of time being pumped into GT5 after the update. I've got to finish a couple of games quick before I disappear into GT5 again! Bring on the DLC too! I'd happily pay for more premium cool cars and tracks!
That's funny because that already applies to Kinect and also to a degree, Move.
That said, this looks cool and could be fun to do every other weekend or so.
I like the way the ps3 is continuously evolving. I just hope they can take all the improvements right over to the PS4. If you look at where we started at the launch of the PS3 and where it is now....it's a huge improvement.
Uncharted is my top game of this generation. It is freah and has very very high production values! Just barely beating out MGS4 and Gears of War 1 ( my first action game as I got the 360 first due to it being released early with good previews of GOW).
This also is separate from my extreme love of the Gran Turismo series that I expect it with each playstation model.
Sounds good. While it will be nice to see and drive the new M5 virtually, I just hope they have tightened the physics a lot more. Otherwise I would rather have this on GT5 if GT5 ever makes any DLC content.
It 'looks' better but if people expect it to match GT5 graphics because someone has found some hidden unused power in the 360 then...good for you!:-) Just pause, for example, at the SLR clip at 20 seconds then compare with what it looks like in GT5.
I already own Forza 2 and 3 and if they were to launch it on the next xbox I'm there, but so far, without support to my logitech wheel and better physics I'm not too sure if I'll buy this.
I would happily buy the PS4 in christmas 2012 as long as it has some good games out at launch e.g. Gran Turismo 6, Uncharted 4, Killzone 4 plus some new IPs. :-)
Chloe looks quite beautiful now. Her eyes in UC2 did creep me out. The Elena pic is not the clearest but I can see she also looks prettier than before.
So to sum it up....these Uncharted women appear to age very, very well! :-)
@versusALL: That's like saying you don't want to see any more Indian Jones movies. As long as the story is good, I'm up for more Uncharteds. Funnily enough it is the story that I look to first in these games. It has a lot of witty chit chat too. The great graphics are a bonus.
I also noticed that the clips used in the comparison started out with fixed photo locations for both then to photo location for the Ferrari Italia vs a created track in GT5, then a track with a Jaguar vs a track with a standard Jaguar in GT5.
At the end of the day, I doubt Forza 4 will look as good as GT5 due to the differences in the console processing powers and the Polyphony team's insane attention to detail. However, I can see that in the future Forza might surpass GT...
I agree and hope someone will do it. Rather than trying to make the most money posible against every other game, they should try to make the best rally game possible and secure a loyal 'hardcore' following then the money will follow.
I primarily buy games for the single player campaign. I treat multi-player as a bonus but not necessity. The campaign sets up the story and reason for the fighting, without it, then it doesn't really matter which FPS you choose.
Going to get both and have my own showdown as I play one after the other! :-))
I am with the writer 100%. Network Q rally from 1996 had the proper rally feel. I only wish someone would take that game and only update the graphics, sound and current stage setups. I find all the new rally games rather casual-gamer. In Network Q, there was rain, lightening, varying surfuces and grip, cars accumilated dirt pretty much forever till you ended the stage, damage etc. It was the real deal!
Wow they have great 'staged' graphics for looking at the cars! I really hope they look like that when we look at the cars in the 'garage mode'. As for the racing, what I saw looked just as good as Forza 3, graphics wise. Take that as you may. We'll have to get it in our hands to check out the physics.
As for the comments of it looking as good as GT5....whatever floats your boat. :-)
"forza 4 was crowned graphics king of this Gen in the racing genre" LOL!! This is exactly why I'm posting the pics.
