I really wish they would either give us more cars like these for download, plus a map or two, or just tell us GT5 will be ready in Feb 09.

As far as I can see the best graphics and best game (MGS4) I've seen in this 'next gen' are on the PS3. The 360 had the best with Gears of War till Unchartered came along and redefined amazing graphics for me. GT5:P has super sexy car models, then MGS4 came with an EPIC experience!

GT5:P has fully modeled lights etc. On this one you can see they modeled the shape of the rear light then pasted on a jpeg pic. Same went for the rear reflectors. Details, details, details!!!

He shouldn't have even bothered. Doesn't he know that the two games co-exist and that there are buyers out there who like BOTH MGS style and Gears style. What a boring world it would be if we ALL like the SAME thing!

Reviewers should play the whole game instead of playing just the first Act or 2 and pretend they have finished it.

If you just play to Act 2 and stop you are missing out! I also thought the game was okay/good/decent untill I beat the boss at the end of Act 2 and played through Act 3 to Act 4. Things then just blew me away! It gets quite addictive! It is quite amazing how the game takes off after Act 2!
Believe me and keep going, try out Act 3 for yourself. Seeing will be believing.

This game has gone up in my interestometer! I'm now considering to buy it! Ferraris, close racing, damage, weather effects, cars get dirty and dirtier depending on where you drive? Great stuff!

It rightly deserves the 9/10 it got from many reviews. At first I thought the small car count was really bad but the experience with those few cars is very good, so everything balances out. With a few tweaks and many more cars and tracks, this game could shoot for the 10/10 (Not perfect but very impressive!)
I generally liked the demo though found it lacking in a few areas. The guns, music, effects, voiceovers,etc all sound topnotch! The close up graphics of the characters are very nice too! In a Killzone 2 kind of way.....but the scenery is rather bland. I thought you could destroy anything from differnt angles but it appears to be pre-designed. I like to play amazing games like this in chunky installments than in 48hours straight. We do have a life you know! Playing in installments lets you take in the story, the cutscenes, the action etc..and enjoy the game in general. Nothing like a good night sleep and time to reflect on what happened in the past day and decide the way forward!

I think it's time for an independent review site that does not depend on advertising dollars from any company affiliated with any game company. I don't care if they only review games after they are out. As long as it is from a neutral perspective. Right now the current crop of reviews are getting real annoying.
Now imagine a Wii but with next gen graphics. This would completely negate the reason for PS3 owners who don't have a Wii to buy a Wii.

Either you like playing games with nice long cutscenes or not. Either you like the color blue or not. There is no right or wrong. For those that feel "they should be playing a game and not watching some cutscenes" then don't buy this, your choice! Freedom is a marvelous thing!
