Whatever Western game developers are focusing on, as a direct result, they are selling more games then their Japanese counterparts five fold.

Sony is not making money from the Vita. It's not profitable for them. With the onslaught of Smart Phones and tablets, it's only going to get worse.
Sony has been in financial restructure more than 4 times since the 1990's and they are in financial restructure again as we speak.

Consoles do not support Tessellation or DX11...so most of the advanced graphical effects won't be present on these consoles.
Second:
AA only effects Aliasing and has nothing to do with how the game actually looks.

Most of this game engine graphical effects and advanced features run in real time and higher FP which is VERY system resource intens...

Actually Sega did 3D gaming before Sony and motionless controllers with the Sega Activator and the Dream Eye well before Sony.
Nintendo was rocking the Power Glove before MS and SONY did motion controls...Atari started motion controls before them all with the Le Stick.

Depends what PC games you are talking about in terms of graphics.
A large portion of 3rd party games on the PC look better than most 1ST party games on the PS3 or Xbox360.
Small Indie games on the PC do not look as good as Uncharted 3. That's a given.
Major titles however on the PC look better and some like Crysis 2 and BF3 and Metro 2033 for example use all real time effects that the PS3 and the Xbox360 in most cases are incapable of rendering running at...
Sony's mistake is the same one they did with the PSP.
They believe the games that will move systems are the console ports of the PS3 and PS2.
They need to stop thinking like this and follow what Nintendo is doing for mobile gaming.
Full console ports for portable game systems are not the things that move these systems.
Sony still has not figured that out yet...and the price also. It has to be lower.

Ben. Great point and I fully agree. Sony should have made the Android Xperia device with Vita internals and sold it as such.

I fully agree. Sony needs to drop the hardware portion and focus on mobile gaming software on multiple devices.
This will be the last you see dedicated mobile hand held systems from Sony and maybe even Nintendo.

I personally think the games are garbage but the reason people are still buying them is they like the franchise and enjoy playing them.
