Now the reality is, Sony has lost large amounts of Market-Share this generation and sold less units than the last generations. That's the real issue at hand.

One thing i am sure Sony will do is get rid of the Cell Architecture. They do this and follow the same route as the Vita and make the PS4 a DECENT price and not $500-$700, then Sony has a winner.

Impressive looking game
Hardcore gamers never kept up sales for console gaming. They have always made up the small percentage of consumers. If a console company primarily focused on the hardcore demographics they would go bankrupt.

The real sad truth is that is not the case anymore. This use to be the situation years back. The majority of money comes from the average gamer/casual gamer now based on numbers and demographics. This is why MS/Nintendo went to the dark side LOL
The best bet for hardcore gamers if you can do it, is have as many systems as possible.

However, for us hardcore gamers...it's painful to see...but thank god their are other systems to game on in conjunction

Both games are very linear in those set pieces so the push on technology is not as great as you make it to be for both games.

Actually Uncharted did copy the basis of Tomb Raider.
It's funny on this site that many think otherwise.
Uncharted just improved on Tomb Raider. And greatly so. But it still took the idea of Tomb Raider and made its it own.
