Naughty Dog is owned by Sony and as such can only make games under Sony's guidelines.
In other words ND cannot make games for another company UNLESS Sony gives them the OK to do so.
EPIC is independent and can make games for any company.
Why would Cliffy B leave EPIC a independent Game Studio that has HUGE resources and licenses out its game engine to most game houses for a 1st party company that is under tight wraps with Sony?

3D gaming to take off next generation on consoles will be fully dependent on those consoles playing 3D WITHOUT the need for Glasses or use passive 3D technology instead.

Sony cannot release the PS4 in 2015. That would give Nintendo a three year lead, and if MS released their console a year after the wiiU, the PS4 would not be the development system.
This would be suicide for Sony. Sony must release the PS4 around the same time as the Nextbox

I see no curse either. However the Cell technology most likely will not be used in the PS4. Cell Technology never took off in the way Sony and it's other contributors hoped it would.

This number will increase. Tablet and Smart Phone gaming will continue to rise. More and more developers will continue to migrate to those platforms as the costs to develop games are cheaper and the profit margins are potentially far greater.

Maxed out is a sweeping term.
What do you mean by Maxed out? It can mean many different things.
Now there is room for optimization for the games in general and the surrounding PS3 hardware.
But to squeeze more polygons, Textures, Shaders, etc wont happen as that is fixed. If you put more of one in a game, you have to take from another do to consoles fixed hardware capabilities. So don't expect to see increased visuals and physics unless some areas are taken away fr...
