Sony would have to give permission for LBP to hit any other platform. They own the IP and Media Molecule.
If Sony wants it to go to another platform, that's their decision fully as they own all rights.

Hardware power NEVER sells a console...Especially a dedicated handheld. Just look at history past on this to confirm what I am saying.
The issue lies with price of the Vita and price of the memory cards and price of the games.
Those are main issues.
The other smaller issue is the type of games that are coming on the system.
It's still far too early to tell, but if Sony is going to focus on the same type of games that were on the PSP and do...
Improve graphics...solid stable frame rates above 30 fps...use of anti-aliasing...better load times... tessellation comparable to mid to high range PC's today(that's not asking much really)
Multi monitor/tv support that is PLAYABLE.
If they can do this, bring the "next" gen consoles out...

The PS3's design is old also. Both systems are.
You begin to see this right away if you start playing the same exact games on the PC.
You notice the hardware limitations immediately for the Xbox360 and the PS3.
One of the MAJOR reasons you are not seeing new hardware steams from the collapsing economy.
Both MS and Sony are not in the same type of rush to release a console that will cost the company billions again.

Sony HAS to launch the PS4 alongside the Next Xbox to be in the running next generation or Microsoft will once again take a commanding lead especially with the WiiU launching before all of them.
They have no choice. You will see a PS4 launch around the same time as the Next Xbox.

Actually the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2. You can pull up the numbers yourself to see this.
As a matter of fact, the only system Sony released that was more powerful, was the PS3.
The PS1 was not more powerful than the N64. The PS2 was the weakest of the three systems.

I have it for my PC and by far it's one of the best looking games this generation hands down.
You just need a beefy PC to get the most out of it.
It's price gouging anyway you look at it. MS does it and Sony does it. The cost of those memory cards are ridiculous.

They always beat Nintendo when it comes to hardware for handheld systems.
But higher specs NEVER win in sales and the "console generation". Never have.
