Reason? Game is an Abomination
Actually Nvidia has won very little Mobile GPU contracts with the Tegra 3. If they did not score the design win for the Nexus 7, they pretty much would have been non existent in the mobile realm. The majority of the mobile devices rocking the Tegra Line of GPU's is minimal and those phones sold less the most. Here's hoping the Tegra 4 meets expectations in sales and performance unlike the Tegra 2, and Tegra 3 SOC that failed to wow in performance.

Gaming forums do not make the balance of the consumers buying consoles. The majority of consumers do not visit forums or sites like this.
I will get a million disagrees because this is N4G.COM but the majority of console sales are not from hardcore gamers who visit game sites like these or its forums.
The mistake Microsoft is making is not CONTROLLING the publicity in a way that will benefit them. One this is for sure, the reveal will be watched by many because of their silenc...
It might get even WORSE on N4G.COM if the Xbox next reveal happens to see that system more powerful then the PS4. If that ever happens you will see SO MUCH BACKPEDALING ON THIS SITE how graphics no longer matter and its all about games ;-)
More RAM does not magically give you stable 60fps@1080p or above. When will you people on N4G.COM understand this? Notice how everyone and their mothers have been focusing on the 8GB DDR5 Ram and bypassed the CPU/GPU? The REAL indicator if the system will run most games at 1080p@60fps with FSAA and other IQ features. The CPU/GPU for the PS4 and the upcoming Xbox is mid-low range by today's standards.

They don't have to reveal anything until they are ready. By them being silent they are getting so much free publicity.

You're a troll...because 90% of games released are cross platform so if the Xbox is the "shooter" box so is the PS3 as it has all the same 3rd party shooter games. List how many 3rd party games are released in a calender year? Then list all the 1st and 2nd party games released during that same time period?

GDDR5 Ram is great for GPU's but is higher in latency then GDDR3 and the reason CPU's for PC's do not use GDDR5 and use GDDR3.
GPU's benefit from LARGE amounts of bandwidth and GDDR5 gives you this.
Still you are correct regarding the PS4 use of GDDR5 and the amount, however that does not make UP for the fact that the GPU is still a mid to low range GPU. That's like putting 8GB of DDR5 on 2 year old GPU...you get great band...

The PS4 and the Xbox720 have plenty of ram for a console, HOWEVER RAM does not determine everything. There has been so much focus on the 8GB DDR5 Ram on the PS4 and no one seems to notice that the CPU/GPU inside the PS4 is low to mid range by today's standards.
