I love JRPG games however they are dying as they have not changed the concept and business model since the 1990s... moreover Japan is no longer the gaming mecca of the world.
Only the big budgeted JRPG games survive in today's market as seen. The smaller JRPG games imo made the PS2 such an amazing system, and those type of smaller JRGP games are not selling at all outside of Japan now when before they sold in the millions on the PS2 and PS1

Traditionally "winning" a console war generation was determined by how many units of said console sold overall. It's been like this since the Atari 2600 vs. The Intellivison to this day. I don't think you understand how PC development works BitbyDeath. PC games are given a minimum requirement to operate. It's scalable. Console games and systems are not. Almost all PC games have in game video/Audio options for most systems.
You scale it based on your PC system. PC gaming won't hold back gaming.
In 2 years from now, once again we will be hearing how console gaming is holding back PC gaming... because PC systems are open box and consoles are closed....
It's not just RAM and Storage that effect how a game operates. This entire argument about RAM is almost comical at best.
Higher Polygon counts and shader effects are not the pull horse for the RAM. That's the GPU mostly.
It seems as soon as word got out that the PS4 would have 8gb of RAM, most people especially on this site figures RAM is mostly responsible for Graphic calculations and Physics etc.

Anyways. The Vita wins in my book because of physical controls, HOWEVER these Smartphones and Tablets have more raw power under the hood then the Vita and you will see more and more games take advantage of this very soon.

The Steam Community alone is in the tens of millions. As for exclusives? The PC actually has 10-1 more exclusives then the Xbox60 and the PS3 combined. It all comes down to what games you like.
Last point? This is not 2001...Any laptop or desktop can hook up to your HDTV and use ANY controller for most games.
