Honestly, I think Pokemon was an experiment, and they will use the same formula going forward. So I expect to see games like Metriod take on this kind of spin
Honestly, I like the idea. Nintendo has shown that they are very capable of bringing a great handheld experience. My biggest fear is Nintendo doesn't have the games to go all in. Also, how will it work will it stream games or be cartridge based? I honestly thought that MS would have been the first to try this because of their established xboxlive and cloud based systems.
Lol!!!!!!!!! Great use of a classic song!!!
As long as they updated the mechanics that whole stopping to shoot is getting in my got damn nerves
Great game, If you enjoyed the first you'll enjoy this one. I liked the semi open world, Metroid-ish style of it. I hope they make another one I'l buy it in a heart beat
Yes, I didn't get far so I can go at it again.
some of you are acting like spoiled rich fifth graders. This whole logic and sense of self entitlement is absoulutely ridiculous, and have the nerve to call yourselves "gamers" gamers don't care where the games go as long as they are amazing. If you don't like it or not going to buy it why waste time and energy on something you're not going to get?
I agree with you on that one, by far Quantum Break was a solid game. In my honest opinion, it is a sleeper hit and I saw the same kind of scrutiny with Alan Wake. People nitpicked, and over looked what the game did right. Honestly, to me for this generation, there was nothing more disappointing, nothing more heart breaking than Watch Dogs. I mean Jesus Abe Christ, everything from the bland environment, to the stale missions, the cheesy hacks, I mean it honestly makes me want to curse!
The most logical thing to do in my opinion is to take it back to the start of when Kratos made the choice to sacrifice himself to the God of War. We get to play the story that started his journey of becoming "The God of War" even get to play the very stage where he kills his wife and child. I think that would be better than just introducing a new mythology.
@kevnb I used to think the same thing. However, A review is not whatever an author wants it to be. A review is a non bias factual summary of the subject being analyzed. Once a writer steers away from this formula, it now becomes an opinionated piece. For example, the news would be a great source for a review. They "only state"(supposed to) the facts and never give you their personal take. This is why most reviews get ripped to pieces because they are not reviews. To some authors'...
For me it's a little too high, I'd give it an 8.5 I hope they expand and give us more chapters to play
because it's not fundamentally flawed. What Joe shows is not even consistent with the way the game plays or even acts. The enemy actually flanks you, and shoots you out of cover. Can they be dumb at times yes, but nothing is broken, unless you want it to be broken. I suggest playing it for yourself...... an unbiased play through and you'll see it for yourself.
It's clear you either enjoy it or you didn't. The same remarks came with AW when it first came out some of AJ's gripes are warranted, however, a lot of it is nitpicking. The fact that he complains about certain doors that can't be open or use time powers to pass, or being able to jump on this but not this is nitpicking. As specially when the game is designed to put you on a single path to reach a goal. There has to be limits put in place for pacing purposes. There are a lot o...
Yeah I would like to play splinter cell agin
Simply put, I've played this game for 4 consecutive days, and never played it again. I fell cheated since the things UBIsoft showed at E3 are either dumb down or don't exist. I'm not investing anymore time or money for this game.
@neal the actual show plays an important piece of building a connection with the charectors. I suggest not skipping them because, the story is not just in the game play. You honestly get to see the villains/ your choices play out. I played it twice, and really sided with the villain
No one can give a proper answer because some are too busy listening to what reviewers have to say instead of playing it. I have played the game all the way through twice, and the story to tv series was actually really good. The controls outside of the cover system and feel or lack there of, weren't good either. However, the over game was a blast to experience.
MS has always made brilliant trailers to promote their games. The one I recall the most is the promotion they did for Halo Reach, or the Halo trailer. However, I don't get rapped up into trailers too tough because I'm one of those guys who has to play the game, and with Gears track record, at least for me. It will not disappoint, It will be interesting where they will take this universe. Will it be the Bromance we have become so familiar with, or a sensitive daddy issued story driven...
@inthezoneac I'm not talking about the cartoon I am talking about the Pokemon go game, inthezoneac
