Nope, I'm going to wait until I can play it at a ms store before I waste my hard earn 60 bucks
I felt the same way you did. However, I didn't find the game to not be all that great. Although, the story was good I just couldn't get into the game play it was boring real boring. I also hated the fact that the game contained elements of other franchises God of War the most notable.
One of my most favorite Castlevania games would be Super Castlevania for Super Nintendo and Symphony of the Night. its a damn shame they can't recreate this kind of magic
In the 21st Century slums of Bushwick Brooklyn. and the cops would be the present day Templars it would be a story based on the drug trade where the mayor and his top officals are your marks. You play as Lamont Pierre Smith, he is half french.. hints his assassin ties. he'll be backed up by some of the best Assassins(Thugs) around the city... The Rza, The Gza, Ol Dirty Bastard, Inspector Deck, Raekwon the Chef, The Wu Tang Clan. The backround music and sound track would be epic.
Sounds good... but when you're dealing with the real world you're going to see that noble belief go right out the window. Because money talks and if it isn't economically sound your lights get cut off.
Hands down Watch Dogs was not my favorite. very disappointing
I thought the game so far looks amazing, and I expected this kind of nitpicking, from the start. I don't know what to blame this sort of thinking on. Maybe fanboy jealousy, fear that it will not live up to its potential, or is it new game hazing? Every game contains repetitive natures, and look's easy... As a Demo... When God of War Three was shown not only did it show it's repetitive combat nature, it also showed no challenge, but no one complained, Batman Arkham whatever's c...
I expected balance not one or the other. I expected innovation and less of the rehash. I wanted something more than just a one on one input. I wanted to see games that had no difficulty because it adjusted to the player on the fly. I expected a "play any where" ok maybe that's too much, but nothing from this new gen has dazzled me and justified my purchase.
Yeah, that was dope I had to watch that again. I like the fact that you can use background objects to you're advantage. The fatality was good too.
This game is free for xboxone users right now, and trust me you will not be dissapointed, the dialog is funny, and the references to Metriod are well done. The graphics are great and animations are wonderful.
In no way shape or form is Zelda II the best Zelda game. That crown belongs to Ocarina of time. Zelda II is a great, frustrating game that deserves it's props, but come on now!
I gave it a seven, myself and I was being nice, the fact you can't shoot while driving, the radio station sucked balls, and nothing... to include hacking stood out. I can see why a six is right for this game. it sampled every mechanic of an open world game from previous open world games to the point it's lost it's identity.
I thought that stopping a train any time I wanted was going to be epic, yeah I was wrong like a mugg.
It didn't live up to the hype, but the game sure has potential to be something greater. Hopefully in the sequel we get something much more innovative to include hacking abilities.
Also, They need to change the character and setting too
Sorry bigger isn't always better, and the bots need to stay because they pace the game. Iets say they took the bots out and made it 12 vs 12. All it would be is a kill riot with meches clogging up the screen. And no. Wall running because the buildings are destroyed. The burn cards I do agree on though. , just improve them don't take them out.
I've mastered the driving ,the point I'm trying to make is vehicle riding is bland and doesnt feel different from vehicle to vehicle outside of handling, period. I understand with cameras, but come on, you switch from one camera to the next, to the next, to the next just to get the drop on someone or to find a box to hack which by the way isn't very challeneging to start. how about having a mic on some of them and listen to their conversations add some spice, how about I catch som...
in my opinion this game is a seven at best. Lets start with the main character. I felt no type of connection what so ever. Aiden was as bland as burnt whole wheat toast! The controls at times felt cumbersome with vehicles that felt like they all drove on ice.
Other issues I had with the game was the hacking. Even though this is the first game to do it (introduce open world hacking) it felt repetitive and lack any creative eliments. Another words, if you hacked in one camera y...
I think GTA V took a real big gamble with multi characters and won. Being able to experience three different characters life styles in the game was great. Also, having their own life style of likes, dislikes, and responsibilities that were fore filled while you controlled them or not, when the game was on or off was also a great feature.
I think this same element should come back, and also add more to the story. For example, a character should have the responsibility to see his par...
I agree with this article, but I would also like to add that this generation feels like the 3do, cdi, atari Jaguar era. Each system had the potential to astound, but fell short to truly deliver compared to the previous 16 bit dominate generation. Out of all the generations that (3do) generation felt stagnant. Similar to the first six months of this generation, sports games still feel the same , FPS don't offer anything mind boggling, open world games add little to nothing compared to wh...
I've seen that, and still feel the game is average at best. The problem with the robbing liquor and hacking in this sense is GTA5 is not based around robbing liquor stores. The Hacking, the main feature of the game is as bland as a two day old rice cake. It's exciting the few times you do it, but nothing special. Even the hacking mini games are bland surrounded by uninspiring missions and a want to be aggressive character.
The fire fights aren't even inspiring becau...
The article was spot on Gears was a very smart financial move for the 360. As the article goes on to also say " The controls were one of the brightest innovations for the generation; Gears of War introduced a fluid use of context-sensitive cover commands, allowing fast and simple traversal of a battlefield even during the height of firefights."
Of course the game has some faults, but still Gears was a game that took the seventh generation of console gaming by storm
I own it and I am enjoying myself. I have opted to use the kinect and I'm not upset I did. Very responsive and controls are easy to use. The game is like a soap opera to include theme song and game introduction. Best 14 bucks I spent in a long time
