Yeaaaah. This game's online community won't last nearly as long as the first one's did.
Gearbox couldn't even if they tried.
GTA is nowhere the size and scope of this game. It's not just some moderately sized sandbox map with invisible walls once you hit an ocean like you find in other games, that studios pump out every three to four years for you to consume for ten hours and be done with. It's a literal universe with full scale planets. It's astounding how many commentators on here are ignorant to the financial costs and time consuming nature of game development, especially with something as ambitious ...
@SolidGamerX What kind of question is that? You can buy access to the current build and following for like $45, RIGHT NOW. This is not a FTP game. https://robertsspaceindustr...
Here's footage from the 3.3.6 alpha build, progress is evident.

Eh, Syndicate was definitely the worst. So forgettable no one even brings it up in comparisons.
What did it set again?
Either that or they assume we're all perpetually stuck in the eighth grade where 'le random' is peak wit. Though I would never consider Gearbox a studio that understands their audience given past and current issues, so I'll just go with the latter.
Hopefully the writing has improved, dialogue of the last two had me cringing throughout.
It'll be a cold day in hell before I switch from PC to consoles exclusively.
Honestly if expectations weren't so high after Half-Life 2, we probably would have had a third entry by now. A problem with universal acclaim is trying to replicate it a second time. If Half-Life 3 came out now, the hype would build as would expectations of it being 'the next big thing' as Half-Life 2 was, and failure to meet potentially unrealistic expectations would actually hurt Valve. For them it probably comes down to 'more likely to fail than succeed, so why bother?'...
Someone has never played New Vegas.
Times like this I'm glad Steam doesn't give a damn what I or anyone else says.
It's adorable there's people with zero knowledge regarding hardware out there that will believe that. Meanwhile in reality these things need to be cost effective to sell.
We're full.
Agreed. Just cheap to throw a kid/parent dynamic at everything, let's not make that a cliche.
EA shut down Pandemic Studios then released two garbage reboots years later, can't forgive them for both offenses.
As a kid I never understood why the NSDAP physically removed those in academics. These days I do.
That's why there hasn't been a better lightsaber combat game since the Jedi Knight series.
Absolute state of Star Wars games.
Been hearing this kind of stuff for the last two decades in multiplayer. Hardly newsworthy.
Having Chris Avellone writing for it pretty much cemented that fact. That man knows how to write for characters and narrative.
