@Teflon02 People are still people, there are those driven by certain things and others who aren't. The key difference there is console players don't have that choice. PC players do. If they did it'd be no different if not worse based on the demographic shift between the two, and general common sense.
As if consoles, the main platforms comprising the majority of the prepubescent demographic renowned for exchanging aural vomit over mics would be any different, if not worse about it if they even had the option.
Outer Worlds is fun, but unlike FNV there's a lot less here. Everything feels...rather bland. From the characters to the world areas. There's nothing really deep with the dialogue system, and the main story doesn't make up for it. It's fun for a few hours sure, but once you actually get deep into it the whole thing is just really underwhelming by comparison on all fronts.
I don't know what Obsidian's financial situation was prior to being bought by ...
It reminds me of Dishonored's style, and by that I mean stylized and borderline muddy looking for what should be less demanding than what they're asking of the hardware it's running on. Fun game though.
It's problem wasn't that it was like TD1, it's problem is that it completely threw out the template the first had established later on that saved it. If they had taken that and built more on top of it it could have ended up better. They made every bad decision with the sequel.
Ah okay so your original comment was pointless. Gotcha.
@Benficaman If that's the case, then how can you say it's the best experience for you if you've never experienced the other? That's just a disservice to yourself.
Not at the specs they're recommending.
I come from the future to tell you that PCs work with TVs and controllers, and can be streamed over a 5Ghz wifi connection from your bedroom to your living room tv allowing you to switch to either on the fly.
May wanna check your dates. Force Unleashed came out several months after GTA IV.
I'd rather have another KOTOR sequel by Obsidian than Bioware at this point. At least Obsidian still understands what an RPG is.
PCs aren't comprised of proprietary hardware and can be scaled without limit as tech improves annually, making the PC version definitive for all eternity. Hell, with the specs they're asking you could NVLink two 2080 tis and run this in 8k. That is if the spec requirements are actually correct.
Depends on the game really. Witcher 3 is possible at 8k with two NVlink 2080tis at ultra settings, with just Hairworks turned off. With an i9-9900k it'd be possible at 60fps(fluctuation depending on the map area of course) About three something grand of horsepower though. But yea anyone expecting to game at 8k in a compact form factor for less than that is deluded.
@Eonjay
Disagree. Democracy is completely incapable of continuity in development. The nation is divided into parties that every four years breaks apart the nation where no unity is possible, it's incapable of allowing any sort of conception or accomplishment of long term plans. One party abolishes the plans and achievements of another. In a large country desperately in need of construction, where the very basis of survival is construction, democracy presents itself as a...
It's published by Oculus Studios so I wouldn't put much if any faith in that happening. Most if not all of the games they publish are exclusive to their storefront.
You don't think they'll do the same with the 3000 series? I do.
There is all sorts of red flags with this. Buyers beware.
@william_cade
Welp. Best get started. https://pcpartpicker.com/
@shloobian That's the average male gamer age in general, not console gamer age. And that study only covers American housholds. https://www.polygon.com/201...
So "yeah"
