Surge is really unique. Also one of the better story’s in a souls like. The idea that you could attack certain parts of the body and then tear off the prosthetics and use them yourself was so cool to me. Hope you enjoy it.
I would absolutely be all over this game if it wasn’t a souls like. I hope we’re winding down on everything having the souls like tropes. Not that I want people who enjoy them not to have them, but I have passed on a ton of games that I loved the look and style of because I didn’t want to deal with the respawning enemies and constant boss battles. If switch had achievements/trophies it would probably be my gaming console of choice. Xbox is my platform of choice because of controller and game pass, and I play exclusives here and there on PlayStation, but Nintendo has the best catalog of exclusives in my mind. Origins is actually my favorite ac
Game. I thought it built a good foundation for the next generation of ac games but they totally omitted the story in origins when they made odyssey. Odyssey bored me to tears. I think with AC my interest depends on where the game takes place. Egypt just really connected with me.
I’m one of the few left who actually enjoys the Ubisoft “formula” it’s like comfort food for me so I’m pretty sure I’ll love this mixing of my favorite franchise by a developer that I love for the most part.
20 handcrafted planets would be ALOT. I don’t even think there are 20 planets mentioned in the entirety of Star Wars lore.
