I’ve played this game and it’s not better than horizon at all. The world and sense of exploration is no where near as good as horizon 5, 4, or 3
Dang where is the almighty Sony first party?! Beyond Spider-Man which I can’t wait for.
I’ve played all fallouts and elder scrolls games so yes I’ve played thousands of hours of their games. Maybe I just prefer scifi, but none of the elder scrolls games had great main stories. Fallout 3 and new Vegas were good story wise, but I just thought the story in starfield was stellar. Also what they’ve done with the new game plus was very cool as well, to me anyway.
Did you play through the story?
People can think what they want, but I know for a fact that 90 percent of the review bombs (I consider that anything under a 7) are from people who either haven’t played it at all or only a few hours.
Also everyone knows that meta critic has never been been reliable. Open critic is a much more honest review site. I would like someone to be honest and admit that if this game was multiplat the narrative would be considerably different.

Don’t think that’s accurate about square being mad at Sony. They’ve been in bed together for years. I’d love to see those games come to Xbox though.

It’s popular enough that Xbox series x sales are up 1000 percent. Still and forever will be eons behind ps5 but to say it’s not popular is just untrue.
Who are you to tell someone what game is their favorite of all time? Days gone is one of my favorites ever and no one gives it any credit. I’m sure you have really impeccable and refined taste as you push your glasses up on your nose and sip your iced coffee.

This is hilarious. I’ve never seen fanboyism to this degree. I seriously think there is no one on earth that could praise the game and not be called irrelevant. Well if you knew the facts you would know that Microsoft was admittedly too hands off with that game. It’s a completely different situation. That why I said “when they go all in”
The fact that this is bethesdas most polished game is a credit to what Microsoft can do for studios when it goes all in. Obviously they won’t get any credit for that on this site, but it makes me excited for the future titles coming out. Really enjoying the game so far. I doubt it will win game of the year with what a great year this has been for games, but it’s on the short list and that’s more than anyone expected.
At no time did anyone say this was gonna be the game of the generation. The narrative was that it needed to be for Microsoft. The game is an 8.5 in my opinion and I’m having an absolute blast. If you’re playing it and enjoying it just disregard the trolls. We all know if it was multiplat the narrative would be way different. Don’t let the people that review bomb it get under your skin. It just exposes them even more.
