I’m still having a blast. I don’t know why but I can spend hours just surveying and setting up outposts. I’m loving the story as well. I guess it’s just Taylor made for me . Most don’t seem to like it.
So if it was on ps plus you wouldn’t play it then? Riiiiiigghhhhhht…….
How is it a sleeper? It’s been promoted for a long time and tons of people were excited for it?
Some people have jobs, wives, kids, etc.
How about making it not a souls like. That would certainly have made it better.
What I think is that the article was designed to be clickbait. Maybe you’re new to “game journalism,” but this sort of thing is prevalent in the industry. Not just in favor of Sony or Xbox, but across the board. If you think it’s just an opinion piece then you’re a bit naive friend.
The narratives on this game are hilarious to me because they just showcase bias at its most ridiculous. Yeah the company that for years was bashed for putting out buggy games finally comes out with a game that is polished and now the people who are butt hurt over exclusivity are saying it’s better if it had bugs. I love it .
I’ve played every AC game, and odyssey is the only one that didn’t hit with me (I felt that it was a huge step down from origins which is my favorite in the whole franchise.I think I got sick of island after island after island in odyssey because Egypt had so many different biomes), but mirage just isn’t compelling me to keep going. Basim bores me to tears. I think it’s time for a modern day assassins creed lol
I mean if you hate it so bad why did you play it 4 times? Sort of seems like you liked it to me.
Agree
I have to disagree. I thought the story was great for the most part. The side stories weren’t as great as the side stories in Witcher 3, but Witcher 3 probably had some of the best writing ever.
Also as great as the story was in cyberpunk, the gigs and missions were all exactly the same. Go to here kill people call the fixer and get paid. I was so tired of that by the end.
Well I have 100 hours in both games and loved both, so I don’t care what anyone says. Starfield was a lot less buggy than cyberpunk at launch. Also the stories were both great .the main story and the crimson fleet story in starfield are both brilliant to me. Also as great is cyberpunk is I had some issues. You could only enter like 1 percent of the buildings in the game and it killed immersion for me. To have an npc guarding a door that you can’t enter anyway was just dumb. Love both games th...
There’s a lot of people that haven’t played it that hate in it and some people have played it and don’t like it which is completely understandable, but I’ve had an absolute blast. I can’t even say how many cool things have happened while surveying. Ships landing that had friendliest that gave me quests, enemy ships that I cleared out and commandeered. Cool gear and outposts, anomalies, etc
I’m still looking forward to this
I have 40 hours in and I haven’t done an if the main story. I’m obsessed with surveying planets. Had a cool moment where I was walking around surveying, saw a spaceship fly over and land, went there and took the ship which was way better than my current ship. I’ve had tons of moments like that just exploring the supposed “empty” world of starfield. Having so much fun.
I disagree that max is unlikable. Chloe is infinitely more unlikable in my opinion.
I’m with you, but you had to know that comment wouldn’t be popular here lol
I’m gonna be honest. I completely understand that games are subjective and someone could love a game while someone else hates it. I just think the main story and even some of the side missions are so good starfield it’s hard to believe someone saying it sucks unless they just don’t like Bethesda games or sci fi. I think the story is so good personally.
While I do agree game pass is the best deal in gaming, I also still by physical. Some people like to collect physical games and I don’t get why that’s so bad. I have probably 500 physical games across all Xbox consoles since the og. I probably have 200 PlayStation games. If anything this makes me glad I never sold them off.
