Sony also wouldn’t green light days gone 2. Days gone is one of my favorite games ever. It’s easily my favorite “zombie” game.
I wasn’t just talking about Bethesda. I will say though that Todd Howard himself said the purchase allowed them to work on the game to a point that it’s projected to be the least buggy of their titles. Of course there will still be some bugs I’m sure. Obsidian has also said that avowed is gonna be bigger than it was before Microsoft bought them. There are also countless indie games that have been able to do more than they would have without the game pass money.
You shouldn’t buy an Xbox if you don’t like it. I’m not trying to get anyone to buy an Xbox at all.
That’s the part people that are against the big bad buyout leave out. It’s not just benefitting Microsoft. It helps the devs they buy make the games they want and maybe didn’t have the money to make. People just breeze past that. Look what Sony did for insomniac.
It’s not that it was bad, there was just too much of it. Origins is the best of all the Arkham games. The only game in the series with decent boss fights.
Too bad you can’t add charisma to Ospreay. He could use it……..
I’d love an la noire sequel. Still the best looks facial captures around.
Wish it had the exclusives GameCube had
I wish they would see the license then.
Also you can name drop persona 2 but it wasn’t til 3 that the series took off. Persona 2 peaked at #60 in Japan where it’s most popular.
I’m my opinion jrpgs are typically turn based and not real time. People will deny that but ask how many peoples favorite jrpgs are turn based and like 99 percent would be. It’s not insignificant
Tail Concerto sold 150,000 copies world wide ……I’d say it’s pretty unknown
Most of the people I know that play call of duty play it every spare second they have and spend hundreds of dollars on micro trans. I wouldn’t call that casual. What’s a real gamer to you? Someone who only plays souls games?
I don’t assume anyone can beat call of duty in that genre, but I’m also the guy that plays call of duty for the campaign only so I have no horse in the race
Well maybe I’m an audience of one, but I’d love to have a banjo game along the lines of yooka laylee
I’ll try to explain. Not everyone wants to only do combat for 50 hours. Lack of combat doesn’t mean boring to some people. I never said I didn’t want there to be combat, but when there is a beautiful intricate open world with lore it would be nice to have the time to explore it and have some down time. In the souls games there is very little in the way of narrative, cutscenes, or exploration other than just finding the next boss. Too much of any one element can be boring. Sorry if that is too...
I can’t find anything in the first 20 hours of final fantasy that has been better than ragnarok. I’m a bigger fan of FF than I am of god of war overall, but I just feel like XVI is vastly overrated. The pacing is horrible in the first few hours.
I’m not at all saying the souls like games are bad. The fans speak to how good the games are, but those games just bore me to tears. It’s just combat combat combat. I know the worlds are interesting and there is lore if you search for it, but there just aren’t enough lulls in all the fighting to enjoy any of the art and lore. Wish there were more story elements.
My only issue with the budget for 2 is that it’s not a good game. It’s the matrix reloaded of sequels.
