Raspberry Pi or most micro pc's (Aside from a few well known brands like the Intel NUC) for that matter are usually sold without a way to power it.
Not saying this is right and to me this is really not a good thing to start... charge me more money but package it with it so I don't forget it and go home with a brick because there is no power.
To guarantee a copy is available for me when I am ready for it or to set money aside when I have it toward something I will want in the future... because what is the difference between giving the money to a retailer when I have it or putting it in a "piggy bank" until the day of release. Both affect me the same, one again guarantees me the game though (unless something goes wrong).
@Godmars290
Last time I checked the whole point of a preorder was as a consumer to guarantee you had a copy on the release date. Now they offer incentives for that which I don't necessarily agree with but the premise is still the same.
If I want to guarantee I have a copy at my store I have to preorder it. If I preorder digital it is because I have the money now and before I spend it at the bar let me spend it here and not have to worry when the game com...

"As a comparison, the combined experiences of a man and woman is typically more diverse than your own. Add in race and other factors, the level of diversity expands even more."
A statement based on no knowledge of my life... hence the problem, you would rule me out as a diverse contender based on my appearance than what I actually could bring to the table from a cultural point of view.
"While you may consider yourself...
I will have to agree and disagree. I am kind of tired of Vietnam war movies traditionally speaking... However that being said I could totally get into a game that is set in Cambodia during the Vietnam war. That way you have the history and problems with some cultures in Cambodia who lost some land to Vietnam and them helping Vietnam during that time not to mention plenty of hostility towards the US for air striking Vietnam supply routes inside Cambodia.
This would also allow...
"Having more women, minorities etc. can mean a wider variety of games, different ideas & stories from different experiences."
Are you truly telling me that my experience on earth is not diverse based on my gender and race? Or that somehow my gender and race would mean that I wouldn't be bringing any new or different ideas to the table.
Unlike what you may have heard on the news and in school race and gender aren't what diversity of ideas...
I beat it so quick your mothers panties dropped.
Sorry, I had to, you left that wide open.
@spotie
The whole game is offloaded allowing you to play games on macines that would otherwise not be able to run the game.
If it wasn't for articles like this I wouldn't know what positions MS is hiring for.
Why does the author feel the need to constantly defend his position of agreeing with the award by proclaiming multiple times that he is not an Xbox Fanboy, and the site is not Xbox friendly... Insecure Much?
"Don't be such a fool, the PS3 was constantly bashed last gen because it had no games and was only worth using as a Bluray player, i've read it MANY times "
How is saying all it is good for is a bluray player slamming it for having a bluray player?
I remember it getting slammed for having a bluray player because the price. Many gamers would rather it didnt have one when it first came out because it was expensive. Kind of like how Xbox got sl...
Does the game tie into the movie? If it does my expectations are going to be much lower.
I am pretty sure "Hitman: Agent 47" is already in post production and will release this year.
The game will fail... or the game will fail your expectations of what you want from it.
I think this game will do great, it wont be for everyone but I think there will be a large number of people that will appreciate what this game is and does. I don't know if I am one of those people yet and only playing it will I find out but I remain optimistic.
Yes I remember when everyone took a poll about their hatred for Ubisoft and it came in as 100% participation of users with a 100% rating of "HATED."
Or you have the people who hate what Ubisoft has turned into as of this generation without forgetting what they liked about them from the past and are optimistically hopeful that they can change.
You know the person that feels free to express that they hate that Ubisoft has jacked up Watch Dogs and AC:U...
And what mistakes are those?
What is the difference between me paying for a copy day of release and paying for a copy early?
Oh that is right... the store guarantees there will be a copy available. Last time I checked that is what the point of a pre-order was.
If you are complaining about "exclusive" pre order "bonuses" take that up with the publishers and developers but dont hate on a customer who wants to make sure he ge...
Literally!
:)
The labeling is subjective. There are plenty of people who would consider the person "heavy" especially in comparison of the other two. Clothes in general come in small medium and large... these are subjective sizes. What is large for one company is a medium for another. How many letters have you written emploring these companies to not use the word large as that makes you feel insecure.
Or you could realize that heavy is a relative term. You have to have a standard...
No thank you... I am not paying 3/4 of my house value for 5400 games and a bunch of consoles to play them on. Most of which would never get played anyways. I would rather spend $10,000 and go pick up the pieces of a personal collection with only the best games.
Since when is my ability to pay a STORE not even the publisher but a retail outlet affect the ability of the developers programmers to write code that isn't broken? I will give you the benefit of the doubt as a novice programmer its very hard to write code and create levels that are perfect the first time so since when has my preorder stopped a publisher or developer from delaying a game? Seems to me almost every game I have wanted in the past year was a delayed game... and lots still had...
