This game looks amaizing but at this point its starting to feel like thats all this game really is... a proceeduraly generated art piece and less of a "fun" game.
Please show me the "fun" and less of the "pretty" so i can buy my ticket on this hype train.

I used a debit card and it worked. You are required to use "Visa Checkout" (Visas response to PayPal) and I believe you don't even have to use a visa card they just want you to use the service, pretty sure visa checkout will let you use any major card carrier.
