As people get more information and are counseled by those who have more information or understanding; their positions and views can change. This is called growth. It should be praised not ridiculed.

Absolutely, I believe that violent media has an affect (to what extent I dont know and believe more research should be done) but I agree it is insignificant/made worse by other more significant factors (Like mental health, parenting, and the affects of pharmaceuticals during development ages) in the actions of these people. We should be looking everywhere and I am happy they gave media violence a look and said this isn't worth it right now compared to other factors that seem to play a muc...

I come to the table with the actual Act, you keep coming with things you read someone else say. Did the variety article say under what regulation law it would break?

NVM I looked it up myself because at least I know how to get my own information. And just like I thought CONTRARY to almost EVERY article posted by "Gaming" sites a news organization in South Korea laid it out.

It is the BUSINESSES that offer boosting services not just someone boos...

I'm still not seeing where boosting or cheating falls into conducting a business registered with fraudulent information.

"8. A person who obtains permission, registers or reports by fraud or improper means pursuant to Article 35 (1) 1 and (2) 1;"

Article 35 (Cancellation, etc. of Permission)
(1) When a person who has registered game producing business or game distributing business pursuant to Article 25 (1) falls under any of the f...

Seriously? I literally put the law in my comment and nothing refers to boosting or cheating in general and you still call it a crime.

According to the article the crime is from the regulatory Act I linked to. There is nothing in there that can be clearly and I'll argue even subjectively about "boosting" or flat out cheating in games. So why do you believe it's actually a law? Because some person copied an article from some other person who also didn't ...

Love this game. Not really into the life and story side but the farming side was a lot of fun.

Okay there are some sever lack of information for the type of reporting this is. This article leaves me with more questions than answers.

What does the law actually say?

Are the people being prosecuted the ones offering the "service" as opposed to those partaking. (ie making money off exploiting a game)?

In fact I cant find anything in the "Game Industry Promotion Act" under the penalties that they claim to say anyth...

They aren't doing anything different for the consumer so why would people think they will make history?

Epic is just another store like GoG. It has a good chance of surviving longer.

I also find it hysterical that about 4 months ago we saw articles saying we don't want every company to create stores and here we are with another store and the media is loving it.

This does nothing for the consumer that any other platform doesn'...

I bought 4 Xbox360's (Original, Elite, Slim, Elite with Kinect) I only bought 2 Xbox Ones (Original, X)... seems about right to me.

"What does it mean to have a role as a viewer within a game, and not just through YouTube or commenting on a stream? I think that's something really exciting to think about if you design games."

WTF? You now want me to buy a $60 game in order to watch someone else play it. EA must be so proud, that you learned so much while there.

Nothing says let's PLAY a game like being a passive socially interactive spectator.

@Cobra

Please tell that to the repo man when they take "your" car.

The point is once the agreement was broken the ownership was broken and reverted back to the license holder which I am sure the person that signed the NDA and the ToS agreed to.

You can't essentially trade me ownership of something and when I take it call the cops and say I stole it.

I can't imagine them not continuing to release titles on PC. Even with the aquisition MS needs to shore up some good games on PC to incentivise people using their storefront. It makes me gag to think of using MS store to buy games though. Steam has ruined me and I want my storefront to be about quality software rather than looking like they sell cheap apps. It's really just an image issue it's not like it's any different but I hate the MS store.

You are right. They should give him his games back and sue him for damages and take his house, garnish his wages, force him into bankruptcy, and ruin his entire life.

What is the point of an NDA if you don't enforce it?

Very nice, I was hoping this game would be fun. Although I am not a fan of souls games I will try it out and see if it strikes me different enough.

AMD is making some compelling moves. I didnt have a great experience with my last AMD CPU but that was over a decade ago. I have been off and on with the GPUs but If they release the new CPUs and this GPU around the same time I might give them another go for a workstation/gaming rig.

You say that like battlefield doesn't have a "V" after it. Like this is the first game they ever made. Not a customer... Full of crap I bet most of us have purchased their games.
