@Xander
It isn't meant to PREVENT shootings. It's a sentiment given after an event. If you say get well soon, or I hope you recover to someone who is sick or worse let's say dying of cancer. Should we not wish them a recovery because "Thoughts and Prayers" or "Get well soon" doesn't prevent them from getting cancer?
But you knew that, didn't you?
They weren't just present it was a Video game event.
That also says more about us than it does the Admins. If we can't have a civil comments section wtf is this all about?
A step in the right direction but still a long ways to go before I can bury Windows as an OS.
If stash space isnt an issue then you wouldnt need "more" and it wouldnt be an additional perk. I have a feeling they are making it a problem on purpose, to sell more space.
I really hate QoL MTX.
Because people in general aren't willing to go without.
I wish people would stop buying into games that do things like this. Take it as the opportunity to play through the backlog of other good games that we may have passed over and show the Publishers that crap like this won't be accepted by the masses.
Instead of buying this for $60 (or $120) buy another game you skipped on sale for $30 and enjoy that. Send them a lesson and still play a good ga...
I dont know how I feel about this. On one hand IDGAF, on the other, if I paid $60 for a game and they are selling QoL features behind a $120 game is kind of BS. Selling things that cant be earned in game to improve quality of life in a game that isnt free means they really do value the players less. I dont see there being any other way around it.
Edit: I changed my mind. I do care. I didn't care because I wasn't going to buy this probably anyways but this is a BS s...
The irony of your comment is so tasty.
Yeah if a studio is failing it would be time for leadership to step in. Who wouldn't want that? If you had an employee doing jack all and not getting their work done to an acceptable standard you would just let them continue to do whatever? On the other hand if they get their work done why mess with them. Same applies for almost everything. Its a management style but no management style I have studied say let something that is failing continue to fail because, reasons.
Any digital (or physical) X360 game that the XOne allows me to play I dont have to buy again. Which was his point. Not that they are ALL available but that IF they are available having to buy them AGAIN is the bummer.
Hence buying SNES games for the Wii, then the WiiU over again, in the day and age of online accounts and being able to tie software to accounts rather than hardware. I think the biggest slap in the face was them knowing you bought it so they gave you a discoun...
The point of this isnt just that preorders are "lower" than previous games. The point is that it is tracking 85% lower than COD preorder right now. Both them are tracking lower than previous years but usually BF tracks 20-40% behind COD not 85% which is why a company reported this to investors.
Considering this was a report for investors to me they are doing their job and telling investors that the game will probably not do as well as previously projected. That is what this analyst is doing and that is all he was doing.
But they arent keeping it under wraps, they are showing the media... That is what I find hard to swallow, if its good for the media (People who are supposed to collect the information to share with the public) why isnt it good for the public directly?
Exactly, Playground games has been making MS IP and growing under the umbrella, they let them build up to an awesome studio and then brought them on.
What about Bungie, that studio was bought, built up under MS and then broke away and look at it now lol.
Most MS studio aqquisitions in the past have been to maintain or get IP, this is the first time in a long time it feels like they are trying to develope the studios and people are upset, makes no sense.
Please tell me you are kidding? Please name one studio that MS bought that wasn't in financial trouble at the time of purchase, who didn't have key figures leave and go open other studios, that have failed?
In fact I would bet you can't name 3 studios that MS has "ruined" in general. Because if you actually cared about the studios you would know what was going on more than just a MS acquisition and then closure.
Rare when aquired was...
Wait, so you "used" to like their games. Please tell me what about their games do you not like now that they are owned by MS? What changed in ANY of their old games that you all the sudden don't like anymore?
*next year
More like, we are probably going to release Beyond Good and Evil 2 and don't want to canabalize on sales.
Ahhh DICE and EA... Still talking about women and ignoring every other complaint. This is why people don't like you anymore.
They still think lack of pre-sales is because of playable women... So naive, feel free to pull your fingers out of your ears and actually listen to the REST of the community and stop lumping us all together. I guess its easier to accept your own failures when you think you are a martyr though. Rather than understanding you shot yourself in the foo...
Because in both scenarios they treated the gamers like crap. BF2, they treated our time and money like garbage. BFV they treated our opinions and concerns like garbage. They learned the wrong lesson, they learned that they make bad games, They didnt learn that they still have a bad customer care issue.
They havent learned how to interact with the people they actually want to buy their games. In fact they told us not to buy them. Meaning they didnt really learn that the bigg...
Microsoft tried this last gen. It didnt work out so well. This time though its not the bare bones XBox its the top of the line so we will see if it pans out any better. I just dont think the reason people havent bought one is the money. Once/if Xbox gets better game selection then the sales will follow.
