It literally was the opposite of futile... results were produced, this article is the proof.
Wrong, and wrong, Would you like to make any more assumptions while you are at it.
How does this lose any business for Sony? The only business they stand to lose AT ALL would be those people who only bought a PS4 because all their friends did but they really wanted an Xbox. Otherwise Sony still has everything it had before. Games, Service, VR, and more.
And why would you want your fellow gamers to be forced into buying a product they dont want?
@rainslacker
None of that had anything to do with a company closing down because they couldn't pay bills while making and I quote MILLIONS in profit.
No one owes you anything and if you are unhappy with how you are being compensated feel free to go somewhere else. No job should ever be gaurenteed unless it is contract work and the contract would have a breech clause for compensation.
Plan your life around this and when SHTF you will be better off than people like you who think your employer owes you anything but what they said they would do.
Do you have to pay your employer if you up and quit one day w...
I've only owned one business in my life so maybe you can explain how you can simultaneously make a profit of "millions" but also have your company failing (read losing money)?
But the players are only hurting because the developers didnt notice or didnt test something well enough. Its the age old saying of "Dont hate the player, hate the game." The game only allows (assuming you are not literally hacking or sending extra packets) what the game allows. Even if it ruinssomething in the game, it was the devs that released it, for them to get mad at the players for playing the game as they released it is having an expectation that they never should have been ...
I know I am in the minority here but game exploits should never be punished with a ban. It is the developers fault it exists. The developers need to be more careful not the players. The players are playing the game as presented to them, if the player doesnt try to stuff packets or change the game code and plays the game AS THE DEVELOPERS RELEASE IT TO THEM, then it is fair game. Especially since the term exploit can be VERY broad.
@Rainslacker, Of course not it was an undeniable fact.
I really need to install the last Hitman game, I have been putting it off but they look really good again.
As an Xbox gamer my first thought was this feels like my grandmother telling me I am her favorite grandson... I am her only grandson.
Wait did he just rebrand Peer to Peer as "Blockchain? WTF type of hipster BS is that?
Reminds me of the article about Mellinials who couldnt afford to rent there own place so they decided to start "Community" housing, where a group of 3 or 4 people would rent one house... Yeah its called ROOMATES we have had that forever.
Also this guy says the word blockchain more than the calls I get at work from "Blockchain engineers" who want ...
This would be a perfect "Game Pass" fit. Episodic "games" that they can spread out and release new ones every 4-6 months of different stories. Its not my style of game but it wouldnt be the worst thing I could think of. Better this than letting the company go completely defunct. Or MS could just hire the newly released talent and start there own Minecraft story(mode) division at the very least.
Okay fine but "Paul Thurrot" is a blogger so where is his source?
Because 4k looks better than 1080p? Which has nothing to do with Xbox. I didnt think that wanting a clearer picture and better visuals was strange. I guess I will have to go see my therapist and let them know that I am crazy for wanting a better picture.
"Paul Thurrot and his team we were able to learn new information about it, such as that this hardware had the codename Scarlet or that it would be ready to work also in the cloud."
That is for the old news, it doesnt say that is the source for this news.
For this info they say "Today we bring back exclusive news on the console, and again it is information that we have been able to discover and that will surely please hardware lovers . "...
You are in an article about the HARDWARE... did you get lost?
I am speaking way out in left field here with very little to go on but the only thing I have read or heard that would be able to make that happen is checkerboard 4k and the fact that Direct X has their own ray tracing tech so if they can push that tech off onto a different chip they may be able to get some type of Ray Tracing.
What I am trying to say is maybe the Ray Tracing that Nvidia is showing and the Ray Tracing that the new system will be able to do arent of the same...
"What you are saying is that workers are not owed anything."
Yes and no, What I am saying is the workers are only owed compensation for doing WORK. Outside of compensation for doing work the worker isnt owed anything.
"Can the workers take their work back? No."
Its not their product, it is the companies product. the company paid the worker to make something, the worker made it and got paid... you cant just take it ba...
