Hang on... My memory may be a little foggy here but Runic was already owned by Perfect World. Meaning that if the developers at Runic are making this then why did they close Runic? Not to mention Runic canceled it's plans to make a Torchlight MMO before they were closed down.
On top of that Torchlight was fun for a little while but lacked longevity and diversity. Them making "another one" but an mmo is not the answer, it needs a major overhaul.

It's sad that a company wants to sell you a game for full price and then sell you a way to spend up progress for more money even though it adds zero content. Basically you are paying for a cheat code. You already paid for the game, why should you have to pay more to get through it quicker?

Though I generally agree with your premise it doesn't account for anything other than the player. For instance how do you know that the developers didn't make the game in a way that would incentivise a player to buy an upgrade. I dont think that is a fair comparison. GoW isnt continuing development on GoW. The complaint here is that they will still develop content for the game but it will be suited to the online side rather than the single player side.

Yes everyone must think of every person on Earth before making a comment even if it wasn't targeted toward them. The 5 games they chose to use at the reveal make me question whether they will have the games that make me nostalgic for the PS1. Because none of those games are on my personal top 10 list. It is just hard to justify $100 for 20 games.

The real question is though. If I designate my switch as the primary console, go over to my friends place and sign in and start playing a game. If my Kid walks up to my switch and starts a game from his account, but because it is the primary console they have the ability to play it, does it still kick me the person who bought the game and has it attached to my account off?
