10m would be a near 100% increase over PSVR1 sales, that's called market growth.

Ian Higton from Eurogamer already claims the PSVR2 version of RE8 is the definitive version of that game from his hands-on preview.

If you're ever wondering why Orchard seems so down on VR and PSVR all the time, I'll remind you that it is the one clear differentiator between Sony and its rivals. It is irrefutable proof that Sony still believe in taking risks and pushing the medium of gaming forward. It goes against the narrative that Sony only care about 3rd person over the shoulder dad simulators and it also casts a certain trillion dollar company in a poor light for being to scared to compete in that market. ...

"If Half-Life Alyx can't get everyone into VR, Horizon and GT definitely can't."

HZD sold 20m+
GT as a series has sold 90m units

What has Half Life sold?

I guess GoW and Horizon were on both PS4 and PS5 so you are right.

Even those who dislike Kojima have to admit he always makes the most out of the hardware he is given to work with MGS1's Dualshock and memory cards, even the game case. MGS2/3 the pressure sensitive buttons, using the Sixaxis to make Rose's chest wobble in codec conversations (groundbreaking and pivotal to the plot), P.T. taking advantage of the DS4's headphone jack to solve the final puzzle etc.

I really want to see him make a PSVR2 title and see what he can do...

"There's a reason it went to PlayStation Plus as quickly as it did. It sold damn well the first couple of months, then sales dropped off a cliff shortly after because it wasn't the sequel many people wanted.

That's just the honest truth."

The anti TLOU2 crowd continue to spread misinformation.

What's so offensive about that exactly? Craig Mazin is a big name since Chernobyl and Druckmann is up there as one of the best known game directors in the industry. Fans of Chernobyl will be excited to see Mazin's name, fans of TLOU (outside of the 4chan crowd) will be happy to see Druckmann's name, it makes sense.

TLOU2's gameplay is so good that people are hyped to play Factions 2.

"People who dislike TLOU2 often say that Neil needed some pushback - here you go."

Oh, that doesn't matter to them, no matter what happens they'll be out for 'Cuckmann's' failure. The last one I interacted with told me that Strayley kept Druckmann in check on TLOU1 and U4 and for TLOU2, the new co-writer, Halley Gross, was simply a yes-man who went along with all of Druckmann's perverse decisions for TLOU2. When I asked for any proof, crick...

This whole deal has really exposed how many corporate shills MS has in gaming media. Jez Corden, Destin Legarie, Tom Warren, Paul Tassi, etc, all supposedly professional journalists, yet all bent out of shape, acting like they have a horse in the race on Xbox gaining all these studios and IPs, despite having more studios than Sony right now.

Are there any blue checks (pre Elon) who behave this way for Sony or Nintendo?

"AI is generated off the backs of other artwork"

While that's true, it's never a direct copy and serves more as 'inspiration'. If I draw a portrait of Winnie the Pooh in Yoji Shinkawa's art style in real life, nobody can tell me I can't sell that or use it any way I want, but because I took a shortcut by not dedicating 1000s of hours of my life to it to achieve the same outcome, it's bad?
