I'm not too interested in this game (just looks too similar to the original) but yeah, nobody is going to compete with GTA6 and he'd have to be a moron to think otherwise.
I don't care about this game, but worth pointing out that this 5 from IGN would have dragged the metacritic score down (IGN is weighted more than most other sites).
Let me go back 20 years to find an example where they did.
This has nothing to do with other consoles.
So I can buy GTA6 on XSX in May and then not be able to play it on my ROG Ally but I still have to pretend it's an Xbox.
FYI the VR Modes in RE7/RE8/RE4 Remake do this too.
I'll be surprised if PS6 is out before 2028, gens get longer and longer and they've no need to rush it with most of their first party yet to reveal their PS5 titles.

You're either lying or just don't know what pre rendered means. Pre rendered means that if you change the character's appearance (clothes, accessories etc) they wouldn't show up in the cutscenes because they were already made and aren't being rendered in real time. This is something that doesn't happen in Rockstar games.

Wanna know what my favourite part about all this is? With Sony cancelling games and fumbling big releases (Concord), this would have been a great time for Xbox (the actual box) to have a resurgence if they didn't already bend the knee and provide PS5 owners with reasons to be happy with their platform of choice. PlayStation just can't stop winning, they have almost supernatural good luck.
