Not sure how that saying applies here. Our enemy is Activision, but Infinity Ward obviously isn't our friend, nor is Activision their enemy :P
Say what you will, but his got a killer business instinct. He might draw the ire of gamers, but his investors certainly love what he's doing.
He got Killzowned and now he's rather inFamous :P
If there's this much excitement, I don't get why Konami doesn't just greenlight the sequel.
PS3 is on the verge of outselling the Wii in Japan for 2009, something no one would have imagined at the beginning of the year. Point is, you never know what could happen.
It really is a huge difference from where Sony was just a few years ago. The whole tone of the company has changed.
Relentless is a 3rd party dev, but Sony owns their IPs - same situation as Insomniac/Sucker Punch.
Anyways, they are pushing 2 PS3 titles next year, 1 PSN and 1 PS3. Obviously one will be a Buzz game, but they say the other is a completely new IP. Can't wait to see what they've got in store.
My guess is English demo, coinciding with the Thursday Dec. 17 release of the game in Japan.
I'll say the same thing I said about Wii motion control - if it's done tastefully, great. If there's no way to do it proper, DON'T try to force it.
Wow, weak sales for 3D Dot Game Heroes. That's a lot worse than I thought it would do - I was thinking at least in the 20-30K range opening day. Definitely did not expect it to lose out to inFamous(which was branded with the equivalent of the AO rating in Japan).
Last gen, there were about 200 mil consoles sold total, 140 of which were PS2s. If the PS3 can start converting those 140 mil PS3 owners, this could be big for Sony.
Obviously this would be an amazing thing. I hope they improve the co-op in the next game, the only thing I don't like about the game is that one of you has to be dead and the other alive to play co-op.
Yea, it was to be expected. MGS was a huge bump for Sony and Konami. PES should help too.
Niiiiiiiice, can't wait!
How does releasing a multiplatform game help Sony dominate?
NO! I don't need any more games to buy before March 2010.
No, no English, but it is coming out in the US. No details on that yet though.
Not quite actually. From Software developed Demon's Souls. This is developed by Silicon Software, but it's published by From Software.
OMG YES! This does it for me! Screw characters and stages, bonus levels return.
I'm not saying every day gamers should. I am saying that if Activision DIDN'T make money, we wouldn't get kick ass games like Call of Duty.
