This game has the potential to be amazing. Hopefully it can attract the Mario Kart audience to the PS3.
It's alright. I blame it mainly on Activision though, they totally didn't put out any ads for it. I wonder if it's because of Id leaving them for Bethesda?

To be honest, I'm not all sure that they'll have to. Wii Fit+ and the new Mario will boost sales considerably when they come. It's obviously gonna be a much tighter race this holiday season than ever before, but Nintendo can still compete with or without a price drop. It's just a matter of how WELL they wanna sell.
And this is just the fire before the storm! September should be interesting, as the 360 and PS3's price drops will be in full effect. Industry may be flipped on it's head, PS3>360>Wii.
I know the game is selling well but I doubt it sold 2 mil... thats probably a shipped number.
So encouraging geeky gamers to fondle their booth babes isn't going to far, but giving out free money is? IMO, the Dante's Inferno marketing campaign as a whole in has been beyond weird.
Besides, tons of developers give away swag packages worth way more than $200, so whats the big deal?
I can only hope it's Disgaea 4... or that they are bringing 3D Dot Game heroes to the US!

I think ultimately it's because the PS3 has been down year over year while the 360 has been up, and even challenging the Wii's number one spot(which has been down even more than the PS3).
I guess that no one counts the Wii's terrible performance though because it's still number 1?

This would make the games release even more epic if true! Nothing shows that a game has worldwide appeal more than a simultaneous release.
Interest in the game is really waning... this is becoming like War Devil.
I can only hope so... the fact sheet says 1-2 players only local though.
