You can't magically "optimize" until it games are running at optimal frame rate and resolution. Naughty Dog had to sacrifice enough just to get Uncharted 4 looking good, this much is very very obvious. You people need to understand that these machines have hard limits.
When the PS4 is pushing the same graphical fidelity at 60 FPS is when you can say it's not underpowered. Same for the Xbox One, same for the Wii U.
What new games does VR let people create? Surgeon Simulator existed before VR. All those mini games like bow shooting existed many of which are free flash games in browser.

Just play Battlefront 2 on PC from GOG or Steam. Install all the mods that gets you the entirety of Battlefront 1. Bam. If EA remade Battlefront 1 or 2 we'd have a game lacking campaign, lacking half the multiplayer maps and without classes.

No they won't. Battlefront sold boat loads. EA/DICE already has everyone's money. They don't care that people stopped playing after a month. That just means more people to sell Battlefront (TWO) to.
It won't refresh the FPS genre. It will just be another modern Battlefield game. If you want a refresh of the FPS genre start playing games that aren't battlefield or call of duty. Splatoon, Unreal Tournament 4, etc. I'm pretty sure even ARK:Survival Evolved has FPS mechanics on mounts.

Rowlet's concept is great. Bowtie owl based off of an old looney tunes sketch? Great! His execution is terrible. RIP Gaming then. Because the only benchmark I've seen in all the Uncharted 4 footage I've watched is that set pieces and quick time events make up the game. Quick time event from a river, quick time event in a tower, quick time event on a bridge, quick time event fighting this person, that person. It never ends.
