I am the same. For most games, I play on the hardest available initial setting, then usually replay on the unlocked harder difficulty.
I have no problem with increased accessibility for gamers of different skill levels or tastes. They can have a setting to let the game play itself, for all I care.

It's math. Knowing the number of consoles MS sold, and knowing it accounts for 43% of sales allows the calculation of total sales. Subtracting MS's and Nintendo's sales from the total allows the estimation of Sony's sales.
Legion, I have personally tried the Resistance 3 pass and pre-order bonus material, and both are active on my main and a sub account on my PS3. So, specifically, I know it works on multiple accounts on the same console. I'll have to see how it works on multiple consoles when I get the chance.

Yes, you can on multiple accounts on one PS3. I bought Resistance 3, and DL'd the online pass and pre-order bonus through my main account. I then had access to both MP and the pre-order bonus through my main account and a sub account on my system.
Don't know about multiple systems, haven't had a chance to try that yet.
