yeah if it was a Sony game the fanboys go rabid!
@ Bathyj
Yes, sorry was talking about the console version :)
I guess with the Natal you'd wave your arms around pretending they are swords and guns, whereas with the Move you'd wave the portable night light looking thingo, which is more like the Wii-mote?
It would work for either though.
The first Far Cry wasn't that great and Far Cry 2 was better....same with Just Cause? Sometimes games get better...
Rugby League 3, you mean. Yes not bad game at all for Wii. Go Broncos!
It's a shame Red Steel 2 isn't getting good first week sales (from what I've read) if it is a good 3rd party game for Wii.
It will be interesting to see which country has the best 'virtual' drivers :)
I wonder if come GOTY time these early games will be remembered.
Then again, what is coming out at the end of the year again??? I guess E3 will enlighten us.
Yeah but would a Twilight game be capable of being good?

I have no problem with realism with regards to game environments, but a BIG YES that games are less and less fun with the realism focus in gameplay, story, and characters, especially in shooters and action titles. The excess gory violence and seriousness etc. doesn't make a game more fun but less so.
By all means up the graphics but give us some Timesplitters-like humour and fun!!!
yeah so what?
The article is about game narrative isn't it? Heavy Rain tries to really focus on that.
Looks like most people were very impressed with ME2!
It's a fair point that interactivity limits the storyline, but I guess it depends on how much 'play' you want and how much 'experience' you want.
Lately I'm finding most big games a bit samey and dull due to samey gameplay style, while I'm doing more short casual games without any story at all. Yet I still love my books.
This is opposite of what I was like a few years ago with games, so maybe some of us go through stages in our gaming?
Anyone else sick of post-apocalyptic destroyed worlds? And we have more coming like the one that takes place in post-disaster Dubai and the game I Am Alive.
Could just be me...but tv, film, and gaming seems a bit obsessed with our destruction.
To be fair they had Mass Effect 2, and although on the PC too it wasn't on PS3.
@ mp
OMG read the article first! He loved it!
@ JoeReno
lol that's a good description, but I think he was doing that on purpose and with irony, knowing what people would think (both 360 and PS3 fans).
As for integrity I thought he said good things?
A good game is a good game! I'd like to see Sony sites give credit to games like Mass Effect 2 as well.
@ BadCircuit
There would be no point in getting one console over another then, but it would be cheaper...
lol, so much hate from fanboys over a 360 site reviewing a PS3 title. What's with all the intense reporting? Chill..
We who have PS3s should be happy that they want a PS3 game for 360! I'd have no problem with a PS3 site reviewing Mass Effect 2 if it was done honestly.
Open world games sure have expanded in numbers lately!
So Red Dead Redemption or Mafia 2?
I think RDR.
