Molyneux has been careful in interviews about not 'promising' things he can't show. The co-op aspect alone will make this great, but the idea that the world changes over time and not in some scripted way, is amazing.

I think the big problem with RPGs these days is the lack of time I have to get into them!!! I've still yet to finish Mass Effect would you believe, and that's because I like to immerse myself and not have kids interrupt every few minutes! With a shooter I can pause and keep going but with an RPG it takes something away from the experience to do that....
Any Xbox site that gives a fair review of a big PS3 title (MGS4) and has more than the run of the mill news rehash is worth voting for imo.
I think they should give you the opportunity to choose or do both...It would be interesting to see what the gameplay changes would be then.
Still, a victory for common sense. The casuals would never go for last gen 3rd person controls.
About time...some of the pricing was ridiculous: look at how much a 20 gig HD was...on $40AUD less than a 120gig. at some stores.
Still not cheap enough for the HDs. though.

How about a MGS4 movie? Oh wait..it WAS a movie!! (JUST KIDDING! I loved playing the game okay!!! Just too many self-indulgent cut scenes!)

I think having a Guitar Hero movie is just stupid. If a game has the story and atmosphere for a movie, then fine, but if it doesn't don't just make a movie to cash in...
I think some more CGI films or short animated films like the Clone Wars would be a good way to complement s...
I don't go out of my way to get an achievement...I just play normally unless one seems like it would be fun to do.
Do we put the three Resident Evil movies into the good or bad section of the list? Or the two Tomb Raider movies?
I actually thought Resi 1 and 3 were okay and Tomb Raider (1 in particular) were also okay.
Nothing stellar yet though. I have hopes for a good Max Payne.
A movie about a guitar hero strikes me as boring....
Oh and the Bloodrayne movie was pretty dismal....
Wasn't he also involved in that 'Falling' song for the Bourne Conspiracy game? I seem to remember seeing him in the 'music video' of the game.

I just hope the next gen consoles aren't digital distribution only...EA is still moaning about the second hand game market...and there would be obvious attractions for Sony and MS too.
I agree that momentum for hardware sales have gone more toward PS3 since the blu ray win but I'd like to see worldwide figures over the last year before I jump to this conclusion.
I do agree that there are still a lot of PS2 fans who WANT to move to a PS3, but can't afford to, who may jump to 360 if they can't wait for a PS3 price drop.
Yeah and each retailer looks like they may make a 'bundle' too...even if they aren't that attractive, it will look like a price drop of sorts.
I think relying on sales of Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 to push sales of PS3 may not work as the GTAIV release didn't seem to generate too much in the way of hardware sales (both 360 and PS3)here in OZ from what I understand.
But you see I'd say Uncharted WAS a AAA title, and as I said I play mostly 360 games. I loved it to bits. Yeah it also had some problems but it was a lot of fun and my kind of game. It was better than the new Indiana Jones movie IMO.
Exactly: the cut scenes were overdone and not all of them were great, and there were too many 'loading' screens but the gameplay was fantastic and very flexible....a top 'AAA' quality game. And I play mostly 360 games...

I can't wait to see towns evolve from little settlements and going back places and seeing them look so different. Still not sure about the dog thing, but the family dynamic is exciting.
