So far Sony has shown no evidence that PS4 games would be hindered in any way. All the announced VR games, so far, are specifically for VR, they have gone on the record, saying that VR games should be built with VR in mind not shoe horned from normal video game experiences. I don't think PS3 was hindered by move or PSP or PS Vita in any way, PS3 still had plenty of exclusives.
Most anyone who has experienced VR will tell you it does not feel like a gimmick.
Everyone on this thread know that you need the camera for PSVR. Everyone keeping up with PSVR know that you need a camera.
It is not a commercial product until october, 7 months from now. They haven't even started pre-orders yet. Idiots are upset that Grandma won't know to buy a camera with PSVR, something you can't pre-order yet and won't be on the market til October.
Grand might forget the camera if it was printed on her I eye glasses that P...
There are a great many people that have the PS4 camera me being one of them. In the first year the PS4 was on the market the PS4 camera was in the top 10/20 on Amazon and GameStop when it wasn't out of stock.
They will announce another package that includes the camera and move controllers between now and October, they will make sure that everyone knows that the camera is needed when it goes on sale.
It is stupid to think that they wouldn't make sure t...

There are many more cross platform games on Playstation than on Xbox, look it up. another would be Portal having cross platform play with PC through steam, Xbox 360 didn't have it.
Microsoft aren't the first to mention cross platform game play with consoles, Playstation did a while back, saying they were open to it but that it was up to the Publishers and Developers, that would seem to be pretty much a fact since only third party games woul...
There are way more cross platform games on Playstation consoles. Also Sony had mentioned being open to cross platform multiplayer on consoles quite a while back, mentioning then that it was up to the publishers and developers.
The problem is fanboys and some media are acting like this is a new thing when it's been around for a long time and much more so on Playstation than Xbox.
I really don't care weather this happens or not, it's not going to make that much difference to me.
Most people say all their friends are on the console ( especially Xbox Fans) they purchased (that being the reason they purchased it) but now it seems it would be great to play with people on the other consoles. I would bet that most gamer's don't really care.
Sony and Playstation had mentioned being open to cross play with other consoles a whil...
No Neverwinter is not cross play between Xbox One and PC.
Believe it when you see it. This whole thing should be discussed between platform holders before even announcing anything to the public, instead of grand standing to see who draws first. Big publicity stunt to draw attention to Xbox One.
Playstation and Sony had mentioned being open to cross play with other consoles a while back except the media didn't make a big deal out of it because it wasn't Microsoft and Microsoft wasn't really doing cross play except with S...
PS3 and PS4 already have cross platform games with PC, fact not fiction and has for a long time. It's new to Xbox not Playstation.
PS4 and PS3 have cross platform multiplayer games with PC, Rocket League (on day one of release), Final Fantasy 14, and War thunder.
Long story short, Playstation already has cross platform multiplayer games, Rocket League is already cross platform with PC on PS4, so is Final Fantasy 14, War Thunder also.
Could have done without the flame bait tittle, but yes cross console platform multiplayer could be a good thing.
Who cares what an ex Xbox employee has to say about a PS4/PC game based on pictures and video footage. Saying that No Man's Sky is stale when their really is no game like it available is a interesting choice of words.
What
I think they are going to continue the 5 to 6 year life cycle for consoles but the next generation of consoles probably will be compatible natively with previous generation games because the architecture for the consoles won't really change. They will just have faster CPU/GPU's and more memory.
I don't think the 1 to 2 year life cycle with gaming PC's would work for the console market, the majority of consumers that buy consoles would not accept that.
Does Phil have a stake in Sony or PSVR? Do you work for Phil or Microsoft?
I like Phil but he is as much a corporate guy as the rest of the people involved with Xbox.
Only thing, no matter how direct the questions are to him or Greenburgh (direct questions about Xbox and Microsoft) they always have to include Nintendo or Sony somehow in their answer's, wouldn't be noticeable if it only happened occasionally, but it's every interview with these guys. It's rare for Nintendo or Sony to include the competitors in conversations about the...
They will making money by only offering the game on Windows store, still exclusive to Microsoft since the game will only be sold there for PC. Windows store is a closed environment even more so than Windows live was. Wasn't fond of Windows live, it was a huge mess and Windows Store needs a lot of work. Microsoft didn't succeed at making Windows Live work, so we will see with Windows store.
It would be a huge mistake If Microsoft try's to make people pay for online...
It's not sold out in the US, says in stock and shipping in April as of 12:00 PM
@AndrewLB
The games run at a native 1080p and are projected at 1080p.
PSVR is a RGB display, so it means 3 sub-pixel per resolution pixel.
Rift/Vive is a PenTile display, so they got only 2 sub-pixel per pixel
So, let's count subpixels!
Rift/Vive: 2160x1200x2 = 5,184,000
PSVR: 1920x1080x3 = 6,220,800 (actually 20% higher!)
So actually it's both easier for PS4 hardware...
