You can play at 1080p with 30 fps limit and unreconstructed, it runs pretty well, at least on my GTX 970. Looks much better than with reconstruction tech. With reconstruction tech the game in some places looked like there was Vaseline smeared on the monitor. The reconstruction tech used on the Xbox One and PC version really in my opinion doesn't look that good, but the game without it looks much better even with the film grain turned on.

Hasn't made any difference where Microsoft wanted it to. PS4 not having BC hasn't hurt Sony. For most people it's a take it or leave kind of thing.

Ratchet and Clank is really more of a reimagining of the original game and it is great, very fun to play and beautiful, not to mention pretty funny. Comparing it to Dark souls 3, which is the third installment in a series and not a remake is kinda strange and doesn't help get the point accross, only makes it a little convoluted.

Reality check: PC"s for gaming are already on 3 year life cycles. The Xbox One is more than likely being updated also. Like to see how the story changes for Xbox fanboys when Microsoft announces the upgraded Xbox One at E3, we all know the story will change. Phil Spencer has already hinted at their being an upgrade Xbox One.

Why are their three or four articles about PS4K on this site every day, I see very little about Microsoft and Xbox 1.5. As I recall Phil Spencer started the conversation about their being upgrades to current consoles rather than completely new ones before the PS4k rumors.
They both are probably coming out with new versions of the current consoles. But Sony is getting way more heat for it.

My bet is that both Sony and Microsoft are doing the same upgrade for true 4k streaming, and ultra Blu-Ray playback. They may even include some kind of upscaling chip to upscale 1080p to 4k resolution for games. Even so this only affects people who have 4k TV's and are features that can not be taken advantage of by people who have only 1080p TV's.
If you have a 1080p TV and don't intend on upgrading to 4k, then the 4k upgraded consoles will make no difference for ...

The Wii was a fluke, pushed by a good ad campaign that got the attention of house wives and casual gamer's. That, and the controlled shortages that I myself fell for. Had a few good first party games and little third support, just like Wii U. People learned their lesson. Hope Nintendo have with the NX.
