Most people don't get VR sickness but their are enough that it's a problem. I have yet to get VR sickness from player either the Oculus or Vive, just not a problem for me. Some get mild sickness at first but eventually get used to VR (get their VR legs). I did get slight headaches from the headset after playing for a while, takes a little getting used to having a screen attached to your face.
People that truly get sick from from VR, will have nausea, vertigo, and h...
Some of the indies games will be on Steam, But games that Microsoft publish and own, I will bet will never be on Steam. Microsoft are the masters (amateurs) of double talk.
What!!! you had your head up your own asses if you believe that crap. Xbox fanboys are the most narcissistic, hypocritical people on earth, and have so little common sense it's beyond belief.
You Xbox fanboys think that no one is aloud to say anything negative about the Xbox or Microsoft yet spend all your time trolling Sony and Playstation forums. When someone says something less than glowing about Xbox and Microsoft, fanboys get pissed and ask why your in a Xbox forum...
You won't see it because there isn't one. Even if the PS4 neo had the very best specs possible the fanboys will hate on it anyway. It's not about the specs it's about brand loyalty.
The article is putting a lot of words in a lot of peoples mouths. The usual click bait article.
People forget that the PS3 overall did still outsell the Xbox 360 even with Xbox having a year to a year and a half head start on the generation. From the time PS3 released it outsold Xbox 360 worldwide every year and eventually over come Xbox 360 for total sales.
As much as American fanboys don't want it, Sony Playstation is probably always going to be ve...
You haven't been paying attention if you think all the real games Coming to PSVR are from B list studios. Also Sean Muryy has hinted on several occasions that No Man's Sky will be on VR. Mark My words it will be on PSVR.
Anyway, as long as their are good games being made for PSVR, it doesn't matter if they come from big developers or not. Good content is good content, doesn't matter who makes it.
Out of all the games announced for PSVR the...
These aren't really games they are VR experiences that are either free with purchase of the main game or sold for a very small price, 2 to 10 dollars. There are a lot of them on Oculus and Vive and they can be kinda cool for what they are, great for showing off VR to family and friends, showing them how it feels to be in the game. As the writer says at the end of the article there are plenty of actual games coming to PSVR that are very exciting and worth getting excited for PSVR.
There have been many times that he or Greenburgh has been asked specific questions about Microsoft and Xbox and they somehow included Sony or Nintendo in their answer. Reggy, Sean, Mark, Yoshita very rarely comment on the competition, even when asked about the competition they mostly skirt around saying anything specific.
Same here, but he makes a lot of good points. Microsoft is presenting a lot of scenarios that probably won't play together very well.
It's all fine that you want replace your old Xbox One, but by doing so you haven't become new customer that buy more games, your a customer they already had that just bought new hardware that they make very little money on and you haven't increased the user base.
It would have been a better move to have gone with just releasing and announcing the Xbox Scorpio next year.
To be honest the Xbox Scorpio is more than likely a reaction to the PS4 N...
The PS Vita is still supported, games come out for it every week. Sony made big games for the Vita, probably didn't make enough money to justify the cost, on the other hand digital only games do very well on Vita and their is a lot of them to choose from, many are cross buy with PS3 and PS4, also Japanese games do very well on PS Vita. Cell phones are the biggest reason the PS Vita hasn't sold better, same reason sales went down for Nintendo's handhelds, plus their is no really hu...
4k adoption isn't that strong yet, games are just going to be upscaled not true 4k and upscaling from 720p and 900p to 1080p is noticeably less sharp now, can you imagine 720p and 900p upscaled to 4k, its not going to look that nice. Plus the 4k tv's have their own upscaler, so Xbox One and PS4 games can be upscaled anyway through the TV. HDR will make a difference but their are probably only going to be a few games that take advantage of it between now and the release of the Xbox Sco...
Most they have shown for the last 3 years. Besides the games they canceled or pushed the release date on.
Kinda new it was going to be a tacked on extra. They will probably improve it some. I wouldn't have bought the game just for the VR experience anyway. Resident Evil is a game you buy PSVR for, that will be great.
The only thing is almost all the games Phil mentioned showing at this years E3 except for Dead RIsing 4 (reimagining of Dead Rising 1) have all been shown at previous E3's 1, 2 and 3 years back and are just releasing this year, even the indies. So his comment towards Sony are off base.
Sony has released just as many or more games with a Higher average review score, pretty much evenly through the year. Sony has many true exclusives to the PS4 and even Vita. Not to ment...
The ending of the conference wasn't awkward. Andrew House said days before the conference that the PS4 neo existed but was not ready to be shown at E3. Maybe they wanted to be able to show something other than a spec sheet.
You Know what was awkward, the amount of fake laughter and bad acting that went on at the Microsoft conference. Granted they had some great announcements, but the little candy cane parade they have every year is vomit enducing.
Announcing Xbox Scorpio this early may hurt the sales of Xbox One and Xbox One S. IF I didn't already have an Xbox One I would definitely wait and buy a Xbox Scorpio.
Not going to get an Xbox One S but will probably get an Xbox Scorpio.
Feels good that Insomniac is making another game for Sony and PS4.
@kalkano
What conference did you think was better?
Most of the people buying an Xbox One S own Xbox One already and are Xbox/ Microsoft diehards. Won't increase the number of games sold, just selling hardware that makes very little money if any.
