RAM speed and size are to independent factor that affects your software in different ways depending on situation and how you design your software. I for one do not believe something is impossible on another system as both consoles are pretty much comparable.
Sony just happen to have a lot of first party studios that get a lot of freedom and time to work on said technology.
Sony and their affiliated keep claiming this is only possible on the PS3, but I would l...
"Live a great and reliable system ??? Thats why xbox live has 256 players, 128 layers, 64, 60 and 32 players online games lagfree ??? get of microsofts nutz. XB live has been out for how long and still it cant have games that do 32 players online... lol. Technically PNS is in a league of its own."
I'm probably taking a troll bait, but would you enlighten us on why having more than 32 players is impossible on Xbox Live? What technical reason makes it impossible t...
MS suggest you do that for optimal experience. No where in the video did he say it is a requirement!
Your fine, it is a recommended setup, not a requirement like everyone else here would like you to believe.
Yeah, Sony's exclusivity is to help the gaming industry and MS' exclusivity is there to hurt the game industry.
Thank you for shedding light on the issue!
I think that should be changed to
"People who willingly agree to pay the higher cost for products/services are a poison that will continue the march of abuse against consumers."
... Wait a second, isn't that what inflation is for?
I find it funny that people's logic is, if this service had that then I would jump ship because it is free.
Well, who wouldn't want free stuff/services?
There is nothing natural about exclusivity this generation. Natural is to go multi-platform!
Because Xbox 360 was a failure right? Just because it has MS's name on it doesn't mean it will fail.
There might be some hot ones too, you just have to wade through the ugly ones!
"People pay for Gold because they want to play online and not the other way around."
As I said, the difference with Netflix is the application is done by MS. So are most other applications that appear on Xbox 360 dashboard.
See "A Look Inside Netflix on the Xbox 360" at (towards bottom):

I read that a while back and Mark apologized for that. Which by the way seemed more of a misunderstanding. Why only show one side of the coin?

As far as I can tell, he seems like a straight up guy. On the other hand, I'm not sure I like the arrogant people like CliffyB and Hideo Kojima. Yes, I said Hideo. He for some reason...
Regulation only causes increase cost and prevents a free market.
Just look at what is happening with our economy. Heck, I can't even get health insurance right now because of the new government regulated health insurance plan. The health insurance plans aren't approved yet, by our government!
So while government is trying to figure it out, people could get hurt without insurance!!!
Some things need regulation only to prevent abuse, bu...

If you perform a service somebody else isn't willing to do, I see no problem with it no matter how trivial it is.
Although I'm against this. Let's face it, information is power in this day and age. If you are un-informed you get taken advantage of almost every day.
Lawyers do it to us regular people all the time!
In reality, Best Buy is technically performing a service for you. It's like doing your taxes, you can pay someone to do it for you or you can do it yourself as the forms are all free!
To me any site that reviews score on such a granular detail tells me they don't have a clue. Scores should be a simple 1-6 or A through F. It's either poor, good/average, great or excellent.
A score between 1-10 is ambiguous and misleading especially if it has fractions. That means whoever did the review didn't give a crap about thinking about the score.
Hulu on PS3 was introduced by Hulu, not Sony. That is why Xbox 360 is also getting it, except there is delay since MS is actually doing the application just like they did with Netflix.
Youtube on PS3 is a piece of sh1t, and arguably you can say that you have access to a lot of this through the PS3 browser which also sucks. The damn thing can't stop crashing. I guess it is there if you are willing to put up with it.
I'm sure Sony introduced other stuff...
They do.
It's called the PS3! Strangely though, we don't see a mass exodus of people moving away from the Xbox Live.
Point being, people do see value in Xbox Live and continue to pay a subscription fee.
Yup, and we will get new features while you wait for ESPN.
Fact is, Sony hasn't introduced a damn thing other than PS Home. Everything else is catching up to Xbox Live. I'm not even sure Netflix would be on PS3 if it weren't for Xbox Live.
With that said, who knows what kind of deal MS did this time. Netflix got around their deal by introducing a disc instead of putting directly on the dash after a year, but the exclusivity period was 2-years. <...
... and CryTek isn't a competitor of Rage?
