Sony just said "units" and didn't specify what those units where, so it is entirely possible that they meant 1.5 million navigators, PS Move wands and PS Move bundles combined.
The US and Europe then to be somewhat divided on what they prefer, but I'm surprised that the division was 1:5. That doesn't sound right.

I think it is funny that people call it "milking", but at the same time say that the "milking sells" the product. Doesn't the fact that the product sell mean that it isn't milked!
So here we have a clear example of what is going on. One company with new IPs, the CEO might get sacked. The other company with sequels is doing relatively great!

You are right, Halo: Reach isn't the system seller like Halo 3 was. However, we didn't expect it to. It certainly performed admirable.
However, the PS Move pushing consoles didn't seem to happen at all.
Well, whatever the numbers are they aren't positive for Sony or Nintendo so I doubt neither are going to report. I wonder if the two of them have anything to do with NPD stopping the console sales number.
What I find interesting is MS actually did it without an actual price drop!

Kinect went from concept, research to design and release within 3-years. That is a feat!
Heck, some of the technology used in Kinect wasn't discovered until very recently (in the last 4-years) and the cost vs. performane requirement to do it wasn't practical until now.

A curosry look at past exclusive releases from Sony, MS and Nintendo, and what I find is there hasn't been a lack of releases from MS relative to the competition.
It's just MS/Nintendo doesn't announce the games until it is to be released within 12-18 months. Sony will show you the title and then tease you for the next 3-4 years!

I think console gamers pirate as well. It's just the ease of pirating on PC is few clicks away from a download to an easy installation.
I can't say the same about console gaming as far as I know.
Piracy is not an issue with a specific platform, it is with a people problem in general.
People are just finding a reason to hate the product, when the software itself was poor. I mean who here has even really looked at DECA sports when it was on the Wii, let alone on the Kinect?
If I were to give the same scrutiny as Kinect gets for the PS3, I would be b!tchin saying how bad PS3 is based on the bad games I find instead of the good ones!
