What are we 5 years old? There's a time and a place for everything, and when it's ready it's ready. If the system packaging isn't fully finalized you aren't going to see it, grow up already!
Used games are the entire business model of Gamestop - there is no profit in selling new games. There is no sustainable business model with just selling new games, they will need other revenue streams. The best thing they can do is refuse to sell consoles that won't support used games. They should take action against companies that want to destroy their business model, because if they give in and bow to the wishes of Microsoft, they'll just die out. If you pussy out in the business wo...
Microsoft isn't going to "Destroy gaming" if they go through with their nonsense.
What you will see is a repeat of the PS2 vs Xbox era. The PS2 sold over 150 million units, the xbox sold 20 million. Microsoft will be able to change their business model midway through if it really doesn't work, we'll see how well Microsoft can adapt to business realities, or whether they truly are a bunch of greedy old guys looking for bigger shirt term paychecks over all else.
lol All the media did was parrot exactly what Microsoft said at their event. The media tried desperately to make sense of the spun facts, the drivel, the nonsense, and the linguistic acrobatics that Microsoft's reps were using to answer basic questions.
You'd think you were talking to a bought and paid for US congressmen lol
I've always been a PS3 guy and I bought every Gran Turismo, but I really hate the counting cars bull crap. The vast majority of cars are complete crap if you actually count up all those god awful 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's japanese cars that had no power, no personality, and no business in a racing game. The team wasted unbelievable amounts of time modelling the same stupid car in every single year it came out, of which the differences were minimal at best. This is the reas...
Phil Hartup is a dumb, self important retard, and he thinks everyone should know that as well.
It depends on who the game is being marketed to. Believe it or not, Nintendo isn't marketing to an identical audience of Sony or Microsoft, they have their own audience, filled with a loyal fanbase, and a ton of casual gamers.
If I'm making a game that doesn't fit into those categories, then I'm not going to waste dev time and money making a game that isn't marketed to Nintendo's core market. It just doesn't make sense. Activision tried it with Ca...
No one seems to understand the business model of Playstation Plus. When you figure out how Sony creates promotions, how they get permission, how the pricing model works, and how companies get compensated, then you can criticize it. At this point, you have your head up your a$$ about Playstation Plus if you're really going to sit there and tell Sony they're hurting developers.
Midway really needs to sell the rights to this IP to a good publisher who will make a true horror game in the same vein as the first game (not EA).
This just in, the NRA has an announcement:
That mother should have shot back with her own gun! The answer is never less guns, or background checks, or sanity checks, the answer is crossfire with the kids!
Unbelievable. Gun manufacturers have politicians in the back pocket. Any legislation that would limit the sale of guns, even to crazy people or criminals is voted down by American politicians who are completely bought and paid off by the NRA. Gun manufacturers make m...
It would have been too expensive to manufacture something with 6-8 discs with the extremely old DVD format.
Sega deserves it for not funding the game so it would get to where it needed to be by the time it released, unfortunately an old fart judge is going to be reviewing the before and after pics, and I have a feeling based on those comparisons the judge won't have a clue what everyone is whining about as the difference only appears to be in the lighting in those pics.
Really this is just the typical whiny reaction from self entitled gamers who think they can hurt a developer...
This one filed under "duh"
This is totally a Japanese way of doing business, not trickle down like in North America. Japanese people believe in the health of the company and the collective more than giving some already rich douchebag an enormous bonus this year for running the company into the ground the last several years. This is why Japanese automotive companies have been by far more profitable and put out statistically better products. Look it up!

It only didn't go so well if you were a PS3 hating troll who went on a mission to try and denigrate the PS3 and all its games, as edge-online and several other website have demonstrably done on the past.
Killzone 2 and 3 have their haters, and they really are incredibly petty and troll-like. No one takes you seriously anymore if you're a hater, because as time passed and people looked back on the Killzone franchise, they saw a damn good set of games with unbelievably...
lol sorry Nintendo fans... you're all in denial. Nintendo is not marketing to you if you're looking for the most powerful console. Nintendo is marketing towards old people, casual gamers, and hardcore Nintendo fans that would buy a pile of dog poo if it had Nintendo's label on it.
It is good to fire people if you want a short term boost in profit due to the lack of salaries you have to pay out, however data shows that this doesn't work to boost profit in the long term. This idea that it creates a bothersome working environment is complete spun nonsense from Public Relations people writing on behalf of CEO's.
In reality, when you lay off your best employees, it creates a sinking ship mentality. This is where the highest quality employees are afr...
In case anyone hasn't figured it out, the tech demo was on a PC, not a console. If you really think consoles can push those visuals, you must be smoking Snoop Dogg levels of pot.
If you've got a shit ton of money to spend on a ton of PC gaming rigermarole, then have at it!
Meanwhile I'll spend a small fraction of the same price on a PS4 and get a ton of exclusives you can't get anywhere else. Sorry PC gamers! You can't play Last of Us this month, nor can you play Gran Turismo 6 or 7 whenever it comes out on PS4, nor can you play the next Uncharted game, I could go on and on.
