I could be mistaken, but I don't think the 3DS went this low until the week or two before the price drop.
They really should drop Batman from the title, I think LEGO DC Super Heroes works just as well. Adding Batman 2 just makes it unnecessarily long.
Also love the throwback musical cues!
If I'm not mistaken, Nintendo has no debt to speak of.
So by your own admission it can lead to some interesting game development... but because most games will use it as menus it should be dropped entirely?
We've seen some interesting uses for it already, and hopefully it only improves as we learn more about the console.
So this would be an easier sell if the writer wrote about how successful the Vita would be?
The point is, it does have a lot to overcome before it becomes a hit. Just because folks constantly point it out, doesn't make any article any less relevant.
So the system that has sold the most software this gen has poor sales?
The system that would have like the first 6 best selling games of this gen has poor software sale?
If the Wii software sales is bad... I honestly wonder how you would describe the PS3 software ecosystem.
Seems to be getting some good reviews. IGN gave it an 8.5
There's really no way to count it, since like 80% of its sales includes a system.
I loathe the distinction personally.
They are new and creative titles. If they don't fit your definition of "core" titles I'm sorry.
But I don't buy or get interested in a game because it meets some checklist to make me seem cool.
Yeah because all of the safe announcements they've made at these things like Pushmo, FreakyForms, Swapnotes, Kiki Trick.. were sequels to their popular games...
There's an old expression, "You can't make a living on potential."
Sure the device has a ton of potential and is great tech, but at its basic level, it has failed to connect with gamers thus far.
That can obviously change, but saying folks are doing it wrong because they aren't hyped, points the finger in the wrong direction.
I don't get the point of an exclusive CoD game for the Vita.
Most people.. tend to agree the game is bought for the multi-player aspect.
Most people think that the highest potential is being able to take your PS3 character/rank on the Go.
Wouldn't that mean you would want the same version of the game?
I doubt a exclusive campaign is going to sell many.
And a non-parity multiplayer won't help.
Well you are the one who made it sound like games without stories are toys...
And different strokes for diff folks.
No he wants them to make games.
Not interactive novels or cinematic experiences.
As this.. er discussion proves
No one expected anything from the Wii so developers were never pushed to do good
Oh so this game does still exist.
I can understand Special Ref matches, but I Quit matches are so hard to translate into a video game.
But the core will buy anytime.
They bought GTA IV in April with no problem. (Same with LA Noire and RDR in May)
I think that might be what the industry fears.
So much of summer is spent on vacation or at the beach or at the movies, activities outside.
The industry probably assumes no one wants to sit indoors.
While reviews may be solid for all of those franchises, on a case by case basis, I do think they disappoint SOME gamers.
