I used MetaCritic because it is the only base-line avenue we have (GameRankings is the same idea, and scores pretty much fell in line)
Anything else would be cherry-picking for a favorites and stuff.
Never did I say these were the "best" games of the system. I simply took the top 30 exclusive games that's it. Nothing else.

I think it will be close to Gears/Zelda for biggest console exclusive. Though I assume Gears will win the sales war this holiday season.

As I said, from a gaming point of view, I'd rather have 6-7 interesting games over the 2-3 a year from another camp. But you also kind of want these games to grow into something special, which I don't think can happen if you get your legs cut off monthly by another new release.
Disaster has always been the most baffling of the games for me. It was made for an American audience. It has a summer blockbuster feel to it.
It has English voice-acting (slightly overdone) and still never made it here

EVERY hardware makers starts throwing around ideas for their new console as soon as the old one is on the market. You don't think MS and Sony have ideas for the PS4/Xbox 360 2 batting around the offices since 2006 or so?

I don't know, I can see Ryu or Ken working as well, but yeah Mega Man fits best in the Nintendo verse.

I was gonna put this in the rumor camp, but in hindsight, Melee was a Cube launch title, and Brawl was the first real game confirmed by Nintendo for the Wii. So I think an announcement is likely, whether it is in video form or playable is something entirely different.
