"You have no grasp on how a business works do you? Those in charge do not make choices blindly. Companies research and test every product and service. On top of that, many companies promote creativity among employees to generate new business ideas. Its a win win for employee and company. Do not be so blind and arrogant."

You just described Google, NOT Microsoft. Microsoft makes more assumptions about their market than many of other the top 10 most profitable compan...

Actually, it was Zero who was the "evil" one, for the most part. Zero was ultimately responsible for many of the events leading up to MGS4 as Zero was the leader behind the Patriots.

Basically, Zero and Big Boss (Naked Snake) both had, in the beginning, a vision of a new world for soldiers to exist with a purpose, but over time their difference in choices ...

The problem with the Ezio saga is people didn't like Desmond. So they killed him off and generalized the "player" character to a person with no name, face, or gender (aka. meant to be you).

Personally I'm fine with AC3, there is nothing we can do now to change what it already is. You can choose just not to play it. AC4 definitely fixed a lot of the flaws there were with AC3, but again people complained because the pirate portion overshadowed the Assassin por...

Infamous 1 & 2 were based more around slower paced fighting and forced you to make use of cover mechanics in one form or another, either hiding behind barriers or, later on in the game, your shield. I felt the shield after playing Second Son, while nice to have, it becomes a crutch and breaks the first games. I never thought about it until I didn't have it. In the first games with a fully upgraded shield, all you needed to do to recharge was stand in front of a turret with your shield...

The evolution of gameplay was pretty gradual between the Ezio games; they only madea few additions with each iteration. There was a big jump in gameplay style between AC1 and AC2 and then when AC3 came out. AC4 just refined a lot of what was introduced in AC3 while avoiding some of it's glaring flaws.

From AC1 to AC4 we have come a damn long ways. Short of the running and climbing, the two are far from the same games. The combat and AI has vastly evolved. I went back and ...

SteamBoxes are just pre-packaged gaming PCs. The problem with SteamBoxes is they still do not remove the strength and weakness of PC's.

PCs have the strength that you can change out your hardware to meet or exceed a games recommended specs to have a pretty looking game, BUT this is also PC's biggest weakness because there is NO standard for hardware and games have to be designed to support a range of different configurations and as such cannot take full advantage of a...

Konami Code!!!

I used the code and surprised him every time.

For those not in the know, the Konami code during the End boss fight revealed the End's location. This made it much easier to sneak up on him. The Moss camo that you earn from the End is one of the best regular camos in the game (it has a very high camo index and also restores stamina when you are laying in sunlight).

@One_Eyed_Wizard

If you have a GameCube there was also Twin Snakes (a port of MGS1).

I've never owned the original Metal Gear Solid from PS1, but I did borrow and play a friend's copy long ago. I just never got around to getting the game myself, until Twin Snakes came out on the GameCube. I enjoyed the update to the graphics despite the few small changes since it was on a Nintendo console.

I have MGS2 and MGS3 on the PS2 and also MGS4...

"...the E3 2012 reveal was running on a PC much more powerful than the PS4..."

Agreed. This was the case with MANY games pre-PS4 reveal. They didn't have dev units yet and had to run off PC hardware spec'd as close as possible (some overshot the specs and showed off a bit too much).

Most devs at the time put out pre-renders meant to be "target" footage. This means they were expecting to have the final ...

The funniest part about Delsin is every time he phones in the DUP for the District Showdown missions and begins flirting with the dispatch girl. With each additional call she just gets more and more frustrated with Delsin.

"Felt almost like a re-skin of SC1."

It effectively was. Though, new units and abilities have thrown a wrench into the load balance. The original Starcraft is still more balanced between the strengths and weaknesses of each race.

With SC2, I imagine Blizzard is holding out load balancing until the Protoss campaign is out with its new additions. It's pointless to balance everything now when the new units/abilities you introduce in the next expans...

I think you and I both want more information.

The purple elephant in the room:
"Reduces CPU Utilization By 50%"

In comparison to what, Microsoft? My bet is that the whole statement is:
"Reduces CPU Utilization By 50% [in comparison to DX 11]"
Because most performance comparisons are done with previous versions. This was completely omitted by either Microsoft or the article writer to "enh...

Is it just me or does the White Hat Hacker outfit look a little bit inspired by Desmond's white hoodie (white on the outside, red on the inside)?

A more accurate description (based off what the original Shadow Warrior was) is Duke Nukem with swords.

The original Shadow Warrior was made by 3D Realms in 1997 using the same engine as Duke Nukem 3D.

Flying Wild Hog rebooted the game last year (this one) and it was released only on PC. This is essentially a PC port. I never played the reboot, so I don't know how much of the "Wang-isms" have survived.

Infamous, Infamous 2, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas, I just find it REALLY hard to be an ass.

Seriously, it is difficult for me as in individual to play the evil playthrough, especially in New Vegas's case - siding with Caesar's Legion was akin to selling your soul, forfeiting nearly every side quest, and effectively pitting the ENTIRE Nevada wasteland against you.

The ability to export to a USB drive should have been there day one. I haven't the slightest...

Why do I have a feeling that MGS5:GZ and Infamous:SS could have launched a week ealier, but Sony (SS)/Konami (GZ) intentionally pushed these games closer to the end of the month. Whether it was to build hype or manipulate weekly numbers or whatever, I'm itching with anticipation. Neither game can come soon enough.
